After my 2 huge dogs were sick all over my clothes while i was visiting halls head for a weekend, I needed a launderette!
I like Halls Head Launderette as it is never super busy (i hate being watched doing my laundry haha!) and there is always a machine available. The store is clean and warm and theres always a bunch of magazines to flick through while you wait!
Captain cook cruises took us on our year 11 formal. They were fantastic! The journey the boat takes along the swan is gorgeous- beautiful atmosphere and the boat itself is hugeee!
Although last time I was there I couldnt drink, there was a well stocked bar (soft drink of course) and a dance floor at the front!
The staff were all lovely and very helpful, a friend of mine was a bit sick and they looked after her so well!
Definitely planning on going on another cruise soon, absolutely breathtaking scenery!
Although ugly on the outside you should necver judge a book by its cover!!
The staff here went out of their way to make our trip amazing- even left a little thanks note on our pillow!
The breaky is always cooked to perfection!
The rooms themselves are quite spacious- and the bathrooms are huge!
Great place to stay the night in Perth on a budget :)
I've always been treated great here! I love that they bought the whole pub over from Ireland.
As usual with a good irish pub, the live music is loud, the drinks are plenty and the service is friendly!
I find Paddy's a great place to go for a light lunch or a more casual meal at the Burswood Complex. Prices are much more reasonable than many of the Casino's other bars, cafe's etc
I love Japanese..so of course i was going to love Nobu! Of course, being at the casino prices were very high, but i expect that nowadays in Perth!
The dishes were delectable and the service was on the ball- definitely see where my dollars go now- to training great staff!
The restaurant itself is gorgeous and inviting.
Ps make a booking- gets busy very quickly!
Wow, just WOW.
The ambience in this place is incredible, you walk down a corridor of candles taking you away from the casino gaming floor to this little piece of luxury.
The atmosphere is delectable. Service here is second to none- definitely a fine dining experience!! Their steaks are to die for (and you'd bloody hell hope they are at 120 bucks!!)
Prices are big, but considering this is a world class restaurant in Perth, I'm not to surprised.
As soon as I have the money I will definitely be going back to order that steak!
Yuki is a great little restaraunt right in the corner of the collins roads shops. It is a refreshingly pretty little restaurant nestled in amongst the more fast paced eateries that surround it. Their food is average but their service is spectacular, constantly checking up to see if they can help you with anything.
Prices are a bit unreasonable considering the location and quality of food, but not ridiculous.
As with always, Collins Road shops parking is a nightmare, so get there early!
This is a great place for a cheap, quick and tasty lunch.
Last visit with my partner, we ordered a huggee meal including laksa, veggies, kway teow, spring rolls and drinks- all for less than 50 dollars!
The portions of these dishes are humungous, to put it in perspective me and my partner could have shared one dish as a main!
The servuice isn't super friendly, but is it fast! Ive never waited longer than 15 minutes- even when full.
Personally I love that for just 50c extra I can take home all my leftovers in a container!
Definitely one of the best asian eateries in Perth, check it out! (parking can be hard though!!)
Approximate cost: $10
Although not technically 'authentic' I absolutely love Roxby Thai! Their Tom Yum soup is delicious- the first time I ever tried the dish was here and it is still in my top ten favourite foods!
Food is fresh and tasty, and always generously portioned. All dishes are presented beautifully as well, adding a touch of class to the traditional 'thai takeaway'. Drinks are affordable, lending it to be a great place for functions/birthdays etc.
The staff here always have a smile on their face and will try to help you out as best they can.
I would certainly reccomend Roxby Thai to anyone looking for a reasonably priced evening restaurant meal.
Approximate cost: $20
I had a reasonable experience here, but nothing too crazy or exciting. Service was ok, although the cafe was quite busy during the lunch rush so I understand that this can be hard.
The coffee was great, no burnt beans etc and the food was fresh and delicious - I had a Zucchini fritter which was yummy!
All over, It wasnt a bad experience, but nothing really jumps out at me. Everything was just, pleasant!
Approximate cost: $15-20
