The guys do a great coffee and delicious lunches and really busy during peak times. Specials are reasonably priced for a tourist locale, however they should reward regulars for loyalty. Staff are friendly and efficient. I keep going back.
My bestie and I planned to spend the better part of our evening here before going to dinner. Unfortunately we only lasted 1 delicious cocktail. Look, it has a great atmosphere, decor and huge range of spirits, however we were too late for a seat, and had to squeeze between other groups just for uncomfortable standing space. I'm not giving up, will go earlier next time!
Really love Nick's. I can't count how many times we have eaten here, and we have never been disappointed, whether midweek dinner, weekend lunch or dinner. Seafood platter is amazing and everything is so fresh. Waitstaff are attentive but not in your face, which I like. The kids love coming here too, which is always a bonus. Im a great fan of their Raspberry Mojito! Previous reviewer commented that the restaurant is always full of people. I agree... We went @1month ago on a Wed night, during Sydney's BIG WET, and were happy to see they were quite busy.
It's true what they say, "you get what you pay for". Steaks perfectly cooked each time, good wine list, great service, lovely location and I don't mind paying for it! Love sitting outside on a summer evening.
Have been here a couple of times and cannot fault the food or service. Love the menu and choice of wine. You must leave room for the dangerously delicious desserts!!
We came here for a quiet birthday celebration. My son and I ordered 2 different meat based pasta dishes and found mussel shells in our food, which is a NO-NO in my books. I showed the waitress who went to the kitchen, who sent back assuring messages that there is no cross contamination, even though you could taste the seafood flavor in the sauce. My family were now turned off their food. They were going to charge me full price! Then the "chef" offered to take $9 off the entire bill, diobolical! I wanted to speak to the chef, as the owner was not in, however he wouldn't come out to speak to me. I went towards the kitchen but the poor waitress who was the go-between stopped me and said he would only pretend he can't speak English! Coward! I was happy to pay for the entrees, but paid for half eaten dishes. Refused to pay for tainted meals. Absolutely disgusting behavior from the "chef", half eaten food was not that great anyway. Don't know how they get away with it, they should be shut down. I left my number so the owner could call me, haven't heard a peep, which implies he just doesn't care, so only option is to leave feedback. DO NOT GO.
A family run, family friendly BYO restaurant, serving fresh, tasty and authentic Vietnamese food. We have been regulars since Vi and Richard, the owners opened many years ago, and NEVER been disappointed. Far too many favorites to list but must-try Squid with Chilli/ginger, Deep-fried Whole Snapper and Camp-fire beef (kind of a cook your own). They have a small specials board too. Our kids (age7 and 9) literally beg to come here, and it's always their choice for birthday dinners. Recommend you book, however they also do takeaway. Love it, love it, love it!
This is our local Thai; quality of service and food is fantastic and fresh. They do a lot of takeaway and home delivery, providing a quieter restaurant atmosphere which is our preference. As with previous reviewer, we return time and time again!
OMG is all I can say. Great wife and husband team, who ooze happiness and great service. Fantastic coffee and breakfasts, using fresh ingredients. The kids are always begging to go for brekkie favorites of bacon/egg on toasted Turkish or Nutella pancakes. I love the egg on fresh spinach with lemon juice or any of the omelettes, haven't tried lunch items but they look delicious too. Very reasonable prices.
Love it! Chicken and salads are fresh and tasty. Love the chicken schnitzel burger :). They make great chips. By far, our preferred chicken shop. Only issue is that it closes early on Fri nights... :(
