I have been to this salon a few times and find the service very poor, not to mention very expensive. They also seem to always overbook themselves and leave you sitting around for HOURS waiting with no one tending to you.

I decided to give them another go in July 2015 as I thought they'd at least be able to help with transitioning my hair from blonde to light brown. Not too much of a difference. The consultant seemed to know what she was doing at the initial consultation but when I went in for the actual appointment kept showing me pictures of balayage. (Why? Who knows).

I showed her my pictures again and made it clear I wanted to go light brown as discussed previously at the consultation. When it was done (over 5 hours later!) I had dirty brown roots and blonde ends. Balayage! They also cut my hair and missed several long bits that stood out like a sore thumb (as my hair is a blunt hair cut).

I wasn't happy and complained. They knew I was not satisfied however charged me $400!!! For giving me dirty brown roots, long bits sticking out, and not the light brown hair like I asked for. I was quoted $350 which I would have been happy to pay if they had actually changed my hair colour, not just slapped some random brown dye on my roots!! Somehow it ended up costing $50 more than the quote, all for a bit of brown dye on the roots and a bad haircut. I cried when I got home, it was so not what I asked for, so expensive, and so time consuming. My roots looked worse than when I went in and I was devastated to find random long bits within my hair - it was a terrible cut. I don't know how they can justify charging that much when you go home and find they've missed areas while cutting - it wasn't a professional job at all.

The salon seems to tack on whatever they can to the price - including making random additions to the price wherever they can without discussing it with you. Even when I used their beauty salon a couple of times management was always trying to charge me extra every time I went - I always had to check the price list as I knew the price somehow wasn't adding up and was too much for the treatments I had. To have to continually question why things are costing more than the price list or quoted price is so bad. It doesn't allow you to put much credibility and trust in the business. Management gives the impression of caring much more about money than maintaining customer satisfaction and therefore gaining continued business. They have a high turnover of staff as well which says a lot, and there is just no consistency.

I was charged $400 even though my hair was a total mess and not what I asked for, they said they would fix it but couldn't get me in till a week later!!! When I finally went back in they started showing me pictures of balayage again, asking what type I wanted!!! Even though that's what I was in getting fixed, and didn't want in the first place. Balayage seems to be all they know how to do, as not once did I say I wanted balayage, I wanted a change of colour - yet somehow ended up with balayage and continued to have it rammed down my throat.

When I told a couple of friends about my experience I wasn't surprised to learn similar had happened to two of them at this salon however they were charged even more than me!!! And one of them left waiting around for even longer (over 6 hours). They also didn't get what they asked for at all, and when they told the salon their concerns were given attitude and still made to pay with no offer of fixing!!

Terrible, will never go back. Absolute waste of a lot of money for a stressful, unsatisfying experience.
