This place is absolutely terrible. Poor poor service. Even after making a booking, I had to wait almost half an hour for a table. I was on time. After ordering a simple chicken dish (forgot exactly what it was), there was a 45 minute wait! I wouldn't say it was that busy anyway.

The place is quite small and crowded. Trying to fit too many tables into a space that's too small.

For entree we had a sourdough bread with some fancy topping. Not too sure what it was. tasted like a bruschetta but better. I ordered the curry with fish. The curry was nice and tangy with a hint of pomegranate. A definite first for me. It was such a hit of flavour and very different too. :)

For dessert, we had the licorice dish. It was a serving of 4 different types of licorise with a more grown-up take on the confectionary item.

The decor is very different here. Some may call it shabby but I think that was deliberate - their 'warehouse' type vibe and all

I came here on a holiday trip with my partner. I was lovely because they open so early. We came here for breakfast. They have cool chairs and fresh flowers placed all around the restaurant. For breakfast, we had the spiced mince in a flour tortilla with poached egg and avocado. I really like poached eggs - they are so hard to make which makes me like them even more!!

I had the dessert too while we were here. Just because I have such a big sweet tooth. We had the custard to share. Eaten by the mouthful! =)

The waiters are all really young but very cheery and eager to help. It was pretty busy even that early in the morning yet they were still cheery! amazing.

This is just another thai restaurant. It's cheap, it's good and it's quick.
I had pad thai and it has that nice wood fired smell after taste. It seems to be the one thing I look for when eating pad thai!

The service here is excellent. The waiters are all very cheery and happy to help. But once again, the food here is pretty standard. Nothing too fancy but rather, nice reliable food.

This place has very simple chinese food. I had the Sichuan Chicken. I had it chilli salted - I asked for extra chilli and they happily obliged. Tastes just like the chicken I once had in China. =)

I also had the watermelon granita to drink after dinner. It's very refreshing and there was chilli in it too! That's a first for me!

This place is very fancy! Very elegant. A very nice place to go on a romantic date! Which is exactly what I did. I went with my partner and we had the degustation for lunch. It was $70pp. The one dish that stood out to me was the deep fried prawns that were rolled in potato straw. The prettiest dish had to be the tiny cube of foie grass that was wrapped in black seaweed. so good!

The waiters were excellent. They knew about each and every dish and I quite like how they give you a summary of each tiny dish as they bring it out. Lots of attention to detail.

The chef is Ryuichi Yoshii! :)

I really like the decor at this place! Feels very authentic. The walls are painted with chalkboard with the wine menu and the menu written all over it. They have a huge menu - so many things to choose from!

We had the San Daniele Prosciutto. yummy! we had some nicely roasted cauliflower on sides. The servings are quite large so I was very full by the end.

For dessert, we had the panna cotta to share. It had an expresso caramel sauce with almonds sprinkled on top. This was the first time I've had expresso in the panna cotta. So good!

This place is so expensive!! :( But I guess you pay for the nice view? The window of the restaurant overlooks the Ivy Swimming Pool. I had the prawns - which costed me $48. It was covered in a bit of tomato sauce/stew. My partner had the parmesan crumbed lamb cutlet which was $44. I think that was a bit steep for crumbed lamb cutlets.

The service is really good. They also have a decent wine list which the waiters were happy to go through with us.

This is a very lovely decorated place. The fire place makes it very cosy. The food here is so good. I had the kangaroo island marron and my partner had the honey roasted duck. It's a bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it. The servings are moderate - enough to get you satisfied and full with a bit of space for dessert if you wish. Of course I went for dessert. We had the malt-infused milkshake. This was a disappointment compared to the quality of the mains we had today. It's a bit too 'fake-milkshake' tasting. :/

It was SO hard getting the waiter's attention. They seem to be making an honest effort to 'accidentally' look away when you try to get their attention. Didn't get served until at least 15-20 minutes after we were seated. The wait made the food taste better maybe?

The tables here are ideal for group events and not so ideal for couples. They have very long thin tables. So a group can sit together but a couple will be seated right next to other people.

We had the risotto. I literally wanted to lick my plate clean. :p The servings may be small though. The pasta was very tasty, not too cheesy but creamy enough to be a good risotto.

Service was so-so. They came, they served and they cleaned. The place was very tidy. The waiters just lacked the cheery vibe I've had before but it didn't affect my experience here.
