We loved it, everything was accessable with the stroller and we took our own lunch and drinks so we didn't have to pay high prices for the cafe food. Plenty of shaddy places to sit. My daughter loved the elephants and arangatangs the best.

The zoo was very clean and I loved the improvements they have made. It was an amazing day the kids loved the animals. very good price and great value for your'e money definately recommend it!

we normally go at least once a year and i would have to say that this year was amazing... although some of the habitates were closed and for one we didint get to see the seals... the improvments and the grounds and surrounds were fantastic. The park is so clean and is a wonderful day out

Visited the Melbourne Zoo, on a Sunday, it was extremely busy, the car park was packed, but all for good reason! When the sun is shining and the animals are frolicking, there's no better place that the Zoo. It is fairly expensive, especially for the average family, however pack your bags for a picnic which helps to alleviate the cost. The new Elephant walk is presented really well, feeding times are always enjoyable to watch, and the staff are informative and happy. Some of the enclosures are probably a little lack lustre for the animals, however, overall the zoo is well presented and an enjoyable way to learn or just relax and watch the amazing animals on offer.

We had our wedding reception in the Rainforest Room at the Zoo in 2005. The room had a great atmosphere as we were surrounded by rainforest, birds and a lake. The food and wine was fantastic and having photos around the zoo has made for great wedding photos.
