I used this company to make a friends wedding cake as I was unable to make it. Her father in law said it was the best mud cake he had ever eaten. When it came to organising my own wedding cake I wnet straight to them, they made us 12 inch and 8 inch square mudcakes with ivory icing and ribbons (we had fresh flowers on top) and it only cost $180. ANother friend was so impressed with our cake that she had them make hers. The shop also hires and sells cake tins of all shapes and sizes and sells all you could need to make and decorate your own cakes.
Approximate cost: $180
Fleetwood Limousines provided the cars for our wedding day and the service they gave was nothing short of royal treatment; from the red carpet from the house to the car, the champagne and nibblies after the ceremony on the way to the recption and the end of night drop off to the hotel complete with "just married" sign on the back.
This Dry Cleaners is open 7 days a week early to late. I have used them for normal clothes, doonas, underlays and they cleaned and boxed my wedding dress, there is nothing they can't clean. There is also an alterationist on site.
We had our wedding reception in the Rainforest Room at the Zoo in 2005. The room had a great atmosphere as we were surrounded by rainforest, birds and a lake. The food and wine was fantastic and having photos around the zoo has made for great wedding photos.
We have been taking our 9 month old to swimming lessons at Kings and have found the small class sizes and professional teachers to be great. The facilities are brand new and the whole centre, including the changerooms is kept toasty warm so that the littlies don't get cold when they are out of the water.
Approximate cost: $60 p/m
Geoff was my obstetrician for my first born and I found him to be a very calm professional Dr, even through a couple of issues along the way.
I have been a patient at the hospital for both surgical and maternity. I couldn't fault either section. The midwives were fantastic and were available after I had gone home.
I was refered to Hamish by a friend and have found him to be a great acupuncturist and so far I feel really good. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to chinese medicine and how it can help a range of issues.
I started going to Back in Motion to do their pregnancy exercise classes (Mums in Motion) which were a great way to tone up, keep fit and work on that all important pelvic floor! I went back after having my baby to help me get back into shape. They were also great with dealing with any muscle issues due to the pregnancy.
If you want to go somewhere for fantastic steak then this is the place. It is a set 4 course menu, with spicy sausages to start, a choice of entree (soup or cevapcici) meat (steak (you chose the type), chicken or pork) served with bread, salad and baked potato and dessert (crepes, apple struedel or blackforest cake).
