Put my iPad in for battery replacement, it came back with screen damage. Delays, excuses and outright lies and headoffice never, ever ring back. Staff change over constantly and impossible to get an honest answer from them..
Some of the worst customer service i have ever seen.

Do NOT deal with these scammers!

I sent a near new IPhone XS MAX mobile phone to ‘CasPhone’ Woollongabba for replacement of the rear glass panel only (purely cosmetic)

After a week the phone presented with a large bubble under it, I showed the guys at the Indooroopilly CasPhone store without telling them where it was repaired, they said it was an absolutely rubbish job!
I contacted the shop and advised what had happened & they advised it was not right and offered to replace the glass.

Upon collecting the phone from repair an error message came up on the phone advising that the phone now had a non-genuine battery and that the phone was now compromised!
I showed the girl at the front counter, she agreed it wasn’t right and immediately gave it back to the technician / owner.

He asked “do you want your battery back?? Of course I said yes as the phone was only a few months old & the battery was perfect!! It was at 92% battery life and there wasn’t any reason to take it out!?!?
He tells me to take a seat, 40 minutes later he places the battery back into the phone and gives it back to me.

He then continues to ramble on and tell me he took the whole housing apart and swapped it out, talking to me like he was doing me a favour! At this point I know this guy has effed up my poor phone.

There was NEVER any mention or CONSENT for anything other then the glass screen to be replaced, they even showed me the glass screen replacement that they were going to glue onto it!
I know how it’s done!

It turned out that he (the owner) took the whole phone apart and changed the whole housing, trying to palm it off to me without noticing.

I take the phone to Apple as the phone has played up ever since, the battery no longer holds charge, shuts off unexpectedly & the battery is so swollen that the whole phone housing has come apart!

Apple kindly investigated the phone and have written a report advising that the battery has been tampered with & tabs are missing from it!
They offered a replacement battery and to seal the phone back up for only $99.

I sent all this info off to CasPhone and they have admitted to taking the phone apart without my consent.

I have forwarded the 2 reports from Apple, they are refusing to cover the damage bill of $99.. instead they want to charge me to take it back to them and to pay them a special price of “$120” to put a non-genuine battery in and probably break it some more.

If I had known a basic cosmetic repair would cost me my new phone, I would have just left it or taken it to Apple. So many regrets!!!

I have tried to resolve this in the most civil way possible, this store needs to be held accountable.

This matter has now been sent to the ACCC, people deserve the right to know about this company. I suggest all of you do the same, go to the ACCC website and submit immediately!

I have zero time for people who do business like this, they are frauds!

We are sorry to hear about your experience with us and apologise for any inconvenience you may be experiencing however your repair was done on 23/10/2020 we have upheld our warranty and repaired your phone even though it was well out of warranty also when you purchase a phone from apple, Im sure your well aware that any physical damage voids your warranty with them.

We repaired your phone after 4 months over warranty, upon pick up our technician did explain to you that he replaced the housing to ensure that the bubbling wont happen again as you were wanting to take it back to your provider you have a contract with, you also stated that before any repairs were done that you were having signal problems hence why you wanted to take it back to your phone provider. Im sure if you notify your provider that you damaged the back glass, they will inform you that your warranty would be voided just from that. If you were unhappy with the housing being replaced, we would have happily changed it back for you however you did not say anything about it and happily took the phone. May I add we did the housing repair with no charge out of your warranty timeline. We also offered to do the battery replacement at a discounted price of $90 not $120 as you stated.

Unfortunately, we have done all we can to help you, we do apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Casper, did I authorise you to pull my phone apart and take the battery out?? Answer me that?
You showed me the glass panel to be stuck on to the back, that was it. You took it upon yourself to totally disassemble my phone and take my near new battery out. Did I consent this? No!
And the first job was done in October, I was having to leave work every time to keep dropping it off to you. I literally left the hospital and rushed back to your shop only to have to wait another 40 minutes for it. Apple have made it clear that the battery failure is because you have removed the battery and broken tabs off as per the report I sent you
Man up and do business properly Casper!

These guys are theives, payed them money and wont send me my new phone.
Would not recommend these guys to anyone and dont buy over the internet from them. All they do is lie to you then block you so you dont contact them .

I paid over $650 - for MacBook Pro screen fix. Comes back not working! It turns on for 5 mins looks normal! Then it then turns off, black lines all over screen, glitches, black screen! It’s never worked. Then all of a sudden black screen doesn’t turn on ever again.
I Called and No one contacts you back, so email contact, i went in when back into Brisbane. now they are saying it’s cracked.? So they never fixed It. Or they didn’t do it properly. When it’s not been used. I don’t believe they have done anything. I show the photos to The guy In store he says we’ll fix it no charge next day They contact me saying I have to pay $1000 for a fix. Why should anyone pay that after already paying money for a fix when it’s never been fixed. Horrible people horrible service and they stole my money.

Im happy that I have found these guys. They fixed my phone in 30 minutes while I could drink a beer lol :) Great prices, fast service, friendly staff.
