Extremely disappointed, sent car down to have starter motor fixed as I had had trouble over the weekend and it needed repair. After getting a tow organized car arrives five minutes latter phone call telling me that it was only a loose connection, I said are you sure as I have had battery on and off over the weekend and it has been doing it on and off all weekend. No all good, I was told so paid $30.00 for this expert advice. 24 hrs later on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend, car not starting towed to another auto electrician can't work on it until Tuesday as long weekend. Tuesday comes Yes its your starter motor, bearing was seized and contacts weren't good. I ask why couldn't Bundamba electrical find it hopeless.....

Sorry Brett,
Sometimes cars can make us look bad
but all we can work with are the faults in front of us
especially if there is more than one problem.
Please don't hesitate to call us if there are problems,
if we don't know we can't help.
Thanks for the review.

The starter on my old MQ Nissan Patrol (1985) was not working on the first hit, deteriorating over time until it only worked on about the sixth attempt. It turned out to be the solenoid attached to the starter motor. Nissan didn't have one, nor the local four-wheel-drive shop, but Bundamba Auto Electrics still got one and fitted it within the day. It was explained to me that they had to get a whole starter motor assembly because the part was made after-market and only came in one piece. I was very satisfied with the final price: $385.

I had a tailgate lock replaced on mb BA Falcon wagon. It used to go "kabang!" but then started going "raaasp!" The part had to be got in and I got the car back mid-afternoon, which was a good turn-around. $274.90.

Approximate cost: $659.90
