Where to start? It was easy at the beginning of our tenancy. Dealing with our Account Manager was a breeze. She attended to everything within minutes and had solutions and results within 24 hours. She was a true credit to the team and we never had an issue UNTIL… she left.

Fast forward a couple of months of bad communication and after constant follow ups over maintenance issues, rent and inspection reports, both through phone calls, texts and emails we were beyond frustrated.

It took months for things to be fixed. I was fed excuses for months and I chased for answers. There were issues with our payments that turned into a saga only because they hadn’t checked the paperwork. It took them months to rectify financial issues like sending bills and confirming rent calculations and providing statements. Inspections were always done by someone different and they all had varying levels of acceptance and understanding about the tenancy. Closing out our tenancy was another drawn out process. I had to pester for a handover report and the final bills to finalise the tenancy agreement AND had to remind them to file the bond paperwork and again I was fed excuses. It took close to two months after handover for the return of bond paperwork to be filed and I never received a close of tenancy report.

We wanted to live in peace but nothing was ever straight forward. It felt like doing their job was too much like hard work and was a constant pass-the-buck kind of battle. The poor communication and lack of customer service was such a discredit to this business that it inspired me to write this review. The entire office would do well with some training in customer service and have a simple understanding of how to be courteous. I am jaded, exhausted and plain fed up with having to deal with people who are rude, bad time managers and who consistently demonstrate a lack of professionalism. I will not recommend this business for rental management nor use them myself and suggest you seriously consider your options.

Called in at their trade desk to enquire about some parts required for a shower repair. Found them to be extremely unhelpful, uninterested and distracted. We felt like big inconveniences and were glad that we didn’t give them our business especially given we have two large renovations coming up. Really disappointing from what I thought was such a reputable supplier.

Walked in with a puncture and walked out impressed. Being female and rushed for time i was slightly nervous that i would be taken for a ride when it came to fixing my tyre. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism and customer service this team portray. They were friendly, welcoming, did the job without hassle and processed my payment with ease. I will most definitely recommend this team and will return again. They are a credit to the Bob Jane brand.
