The Yiros here are HUGE. I ordered the falafel yiros roll for $8 and had trouble finishing it. It was very tasty. The service is good, the place looks clean and inviting in the food court. They also have a variety of burgers and plates with fresh salads to choose from. Overall, good for a quick but filling lunch.

Approximate cost: $5-$12

The decor is very random, with all different chairs, tables and plates used. There is some great, interesting art and tiled mosaics on the walls. It is a cosy, secluded spot one level above the city street. The largest table seats around 5 people, so be careful of taking a big group.
All food is vegetarian, with some vegan options. The burgers are delicious and huge, I usually order a half-burger for around $8. For the decor and very tasty home-cooked food, I would recommend this place to anyone - vego's and non vego's.

What I loved about this restaurant is that there is no menu. All meals are based on a price-paid option of how many dishes you will get and it changes from week to week. You can go all the way up to a full Degustation menu, which is 5 courses for about $60. All food is vegetarian, organic and sourced locally. The setup means that they avoid food wastage, which is fantastic.
The service is great. The decor is a little stark but of the three times I have been there has been funky live music to make it a little warmer.
This is slightly on the pricier side of dining, but worth it if you like vegetarian and surprises.

Approximate cost: $20-$60

This review is for Vegetarian Delight, Hindmarsh SA

This is a vegetarian restaurant that serves mock-meat items on the menu as well. eg. 'Sizziling Steak' made from soy or bean products - looks like meat, tastes a lot like meat, but isn't. It's great for vegetarians or vegans who miss the taste of meat, or as I did, for taking a partner who isn't vegetarian but I am.
The service was great, fast and very friendly. The prices are good and we couldn't finish all the food there was so much on the plates. I would definitely go back again.

This review is for Clarence Park Bazaar, Clarence Park SA

I have gone to Bazaar to both buy vintage clothing and hire 70's and 80's era costumes. The range is fantastic - they have most eras and different sizes. Some things are for purchase only and can be a little pricey, which I guess is because they are original vintage bought from the public. The service is good, but get in quick because I have found things can go again almost as soon as they are returned from hire. Overall, a good place to head if you have a costume party coming up.

Big Star sell new and second hand CD's and vinyl albums as well as concert and festival tickets. They also buy second hand CD's and vinyl. They have a great alternative range and many rarities that can be hard to find. The staff have always been helpful and very knowledgeable about a large range of music. Occasionally they have not had a CD in stock and have been more than happy to order it or get it sent from another store.
They also have a loyalty booklet that gets one stamp per $10 spent which gets you a $20 voucher for every $200 spent.

Itami sell a large range of sushi in the Marion food court. I have had mainly vegetarian rolls with soy sauce. The price is reasonable, the service fast and the quality is good. I would recommend for a quick, healthy bite to eat.

This review is for Curry Choice, Oaklands Park SA

I had a very nice vegetarian curry with rice from Curry Zone - an Indian food counter in the Marion food court. The staff are eager to serve you and the food is very tasty. There is a good selection and the choice to takeaway. I bought a plate with two serves of curries and rice for around $9. I would consider this good value compared to other Indian restaurants I have been to where you may pay around $12 for each curry.

Approximate cost: $9

This is a self serve Asian food cafe/restaurant. The service is good and the place is clean. I bought a plate and choose some vegetarian noodles, vegetables, and fried rice. The food tasted average but was value for money as you can stack as much as you want on the medium sized plate. Good for a quick, cheap meal.

This review is for Mercury Cinema, Adelaide SA

I went to the Mercury recently for a series of free weekly low-budget film screenings but have also been for screenings during their Cinémathèque program, during the Fringe, and regular cinema releases. The chairs are very comfortable and on a good angle so your view is never blocked. The sound is also good for the smallish cinema. The foyer has comfortable funky chairs and bean bags and there is a small snack/drink bar where you can get alcoholic drinks also.
