A lovely day out at the penninsula hot springs, much bigger now with their new developments, we loved sitting in the caves and turkish steam baths. You can have a massage and treatment here or just relax in the pools. You'll be fascinated and leave feeling refreshed, well worth the entry fee.

Skin Body Spa offers the most exquisite facials and beauty treatments. From the moment you slip into their robes and slide into the warmed massage tables ,filled with soft fluffy mattresses and thick feather doonas, you know it is all about you.

Your skin will be analysed and you will float away with gentle caresses, whilst your skin is nourished, exfoliated and pampered. After an hour, your face will be glowing and your soul rejuvenated. I am a fully qualified beauty therapist and this is where I go for treatments - just don't book them out so much I can't get in.

We had a couples deluxe massage. It was lovely, both taken into the one room, full body massage as soft or hard as you like and then finished off with a head massage, hand and foot treatment and a cup of delicious tea. A really pleasant experience with charming staff.

Approximate cost: $120

We were made to feel so warmly welcome at the Carlton Curry House. The chef designed a perfect meal to our dietary requirements. The price was excellent and the food of the highest Indian quality.
The Mango lassi is divine, the best I have ever had (& I lived in India for a year) & the pistachio kulfi (ice cream) has my kids begging to go back. Your host is Peggy and she couldn't be more charming. Give them a try, you will love it! (You MUST try the lassi). Great wine list too. They have a really good upstairs section that is perfect for parties or functions.
A refreshing change from all the usual restaurants on Lygon st (although we do also love Italian)
