I’ve just had painted glass wardrobe doors installed after much miscommunication (and in some instances no communication at all-I had to chase the installer coordinator up on more than one occasion,not returning my emails).He sent an installer to my house on a day that I was at work because he thought he had organised an installation date with me when he hadn't.The installer was late on another morning that had been scheduled and didn’t turn up before I had to leave for work,so that day was cancelled.When the job was finally finished after waiting 5 weeks my cornice had fallen from the ceiling,there was dust all over my bed & furniture.The doors were blue when I ordered white,two of the three doors were damaged-they had scratches on the metal frames and the paint on the glass was scratched off in 3 places.When I put my clothes back in the wardrobe I couldn’t close the doors because the coat hangers were in the track of the door.When I spoke to the Manager of the business I told him about the damaged doors,that the colour was wrong and I tried negotiate a solution to my problem-he said he won’t change the doors until I paid for these(damaged ones)in full.When the company said they would call me on the Friday to come back and take a look at the damaged doors they did not call me.In the end I just wanted the doors taken away so I could start again with another company.The call I got today was that they refused to take the doors back because I refused to pay the full price of the original quote(because the doors were damaged).If I wanted the doors removed I had to pay for the removal.They were not interested in solving my problem-they were only interested in receiving full payment for damaged doors,and the fact that they didn’t call me back when they said they would indicates that they just didn’t care that I was extremely unhappy with the product and service.Do not buy from this company-poor service,poor quality and not willing to fix damaged doors unless they get their money first.I have outlaid $1,021 from an original $1321 quote for doors that are 1)the wrong colour 2) damaged 3) doors don’t close because the coat hanger measurements were not taken into account.I’m just about to have these doors ripped out and taken to the tip.$1,021 wasted.Extremely disappointed and quite disgusted at the way my complaint was handled.Use this company at your own peril or if you want to waste your money.1 star rating is too generous.

A very big "Thankyou" to Andrew from SHUTTERED for coming to my rescue when another blind company let me down.My job was a very small job for him-it was hardly worth his while financially or from a time perspective,but he understood the situation I'd been left in and he really stepped up and helped me to fix another company's problem.Andrew demonstrated what good old-fashioned customer service was all about and for this reason I will be booking my next 2 jobs with SHUTTERED.I would not hesitate to recommend this company for their great work,great value for money,punctuality,and good communication from the time of the quote right through to job completion-my calls,emails/enquiries were always responded to.Thankyou SHUTTERED!
