A source of fresh juices, smoothies and much much more, this store is an oasis in a desert for people in need of a healthy boost especially while shopping. It tastes great, though it's high prices mean it's only an occasional treat.
You get to choose as many flavours of ice cream as you want, and then select from a range of lollies and chocolates as well as cookie dough and more. A member of staff will smash them together for you in your desired combinations on a cold rock and wa-la you have it, your own ice cream flavour ready to taste!
Civic Video has the same range of movies provided by other larger video store chains but has incredible specials on some days. On Tuesdays, new release rentals go for a dollar and on Thursdays, weeklies are only 50 cents!
I am in a dance class with kids much younger than me but also much more advanced than me. However, the dance teacher is amazing and is credited with launching many professional dancers around the world! She offered me a free trial lessons and subsequent lessons have been very reasonably priced!
An expected range of dvds from weeklies to new releases, they constantly send out discount coupons which alleviate the exorbitant prices. Make sure to use one of them or buy your phone credit from there to get a free new release rental!
Armed with a great variety of breads and cakes, this neighborhood bakery is part of a chain that swears never to sell bread that isn't baked on the day, a common practice among other bakeries with insufficient turnover. They even provide a microwave if you can't wait till you get home to heat it up and eat it up!
I have been there countless times for their great bubble teas as well as their vegetarian bakery, added not too long ago! Everything is baked fresh there and then, with a great variety to choose from including breads, cakes, pastries and more!
This place is unbeatable for fantastic Japanese take-away that is cheap, delicious and most of all, generous! The owner and his japanese staff are friendly and helpful, and tables and chairs are also available if you want to dine in!
A sophisticated and stylish restaurant for any occasion which has grown from a small intimate shop. They serve quality Japanese food which is fresh and well prepared. Prices are constantly on the rise though, so no longer cheap.
Seated in a cozy but comfortable little japanese affair, we relished the incredibly affordable starting prices and drooled when our meals arrived. Though portion sizes are not substantial enough to feed bigger eaters, the scallop sashimi is definitely to die for and will leave you dreaming of it for days!
