We have bought many items from Baby Zone Direct. The staff there are very helpful. For e.g. after discussing about a particular type of baby bouncer with a staff member she suggested a cheaper alternative (than the common one) they had in store. It was exactly the same as the original but had a black frame instead of blue, which I preferred as I have a girl and didn't want a blue framed bouncer.
Good one-stop-shop for most of your baby's needs.
The Warrawong Coles Express is in a convenient location, just off the main road. Their petrol prices are generally higher than other Coles Express petrol station at times. The staff are always friendly.
Good hotel to stay at for a quick walk down to Darling Harbour. Room wasn't too fancy but I couldn't complain as I just stayed there for one night. The service was ok too.
I have booked with HotelClub before for a group holiday. Our friends had paid full price when my husband and I found the same accommodation at a cheaper rate on HotelClub, was very pleased! They offer credit points per booking you make however, I lost all of my points ($44 worth) due to not being able to use them before they expired, which was a bit disappointing.
wotif.com is great for comparing accommodation prices. I have booked through wotif.com before and am pleased when I find it cheaper via their website than the actual accommodation website. Be sure to call the accommodation place though to make sure you have a booking.
I used to go to Lee Massage & Acupuncture (at Wollongong) every week for about a year just before and during my pregnancy. They are professional, offer health fund rebates, and have friendly staff. I stopped going when they increased their prices and I found a different massage place with cheaper rates. Sometimes I found they didn't give me a deep enough massage, which is another reason why I changed. Would still go back there for a relaxing massage though.
Approximate cost: $35 for 30 mins
Subway Figtree is a nice one, with some seating available if you wanted to eat in store. Their products are almost always fresh and tasty. Prices keep hiking up, however, you do feel full after a footlong sub!
Approximate cost: $9.95
I had been to Total Bliss a couple of times in the past, the first time was a gift from my husband; I had a body scrub and wrap done, which was nice but very expensive. I had my hair done once which wasa also nice but once again, expensive. Overall, I wouldn't go back there due to the pricing and I can find better hairdressers for cheaper prices.
I'd recommend Hellen's Hair Artistry to anyone looking for good service and a quality result. I had keratin treatment done over a month ago and am still amazed at how silky my hair feels! Thank you Hellen and your team :)
