No work was done. I asked for a quote on a job. I didn't think it required me to be there as they only needed to measure an outside wall but they wanted me there. They couldn't give me a day other than probably Thursday or Friday morning before 10. Told them I would wait til 10 each day but had to go to work them as I would need to organise to take that time and make it up in the evening. Come Friday. Luckily he bumped the wall while measuring at about 9 am or I'd be waiting for him til 10 again. He wasn't going to knock on the door as he didn't need me to be there! Great waste of time that. I have been chasing them for over 5 weeks now and they still haven't sent a quote. Rang several times. Kept getting told they would get onto straight away. If they can't even quote a job in a timely fashion I have no faith in them actually doing the work wiithout major hassles. I am taking my business elsewhere.

I have used Bay City Holden several times now for service and work on my car. Each time I have had to leave my car there til the next day due to them not having the parts available. Each time I had asked before hand if they had the parts available. Once they even had to order a part in advance, when they rang and told me it had arrived they then pulled my car appart to fit it only to discover they didn't have the part after all! I have been using them because they are close but more. I am sick of their bad service and constant stuff ups.

I have taken my cats here a number of times. They are very friendly, reasonably priced and seem to really care about your pet. One of the cats needed a tooth extracted. Dropped him off in the morning, picked him up in the evening, no hassles, the cat seemed happy. They checked him over gratis a week later to make sure everything had healed properly.

I had a new gas hot water heater fitted. He arrived when he said he would and was very personable, explaining everything about the job. When Steve tested the for gas leaks before commencing work he found that there was a leak somewhere. He quickly found a connector on the stove needed to be tightened and all was good again. He didn't charge for sorting out this leak. He then fitted the water heater and showed how to operate it. Nice job, will use again for future work.
