I WAS going to say ...

Everyone loves these dim sims. They are just the best. I really like dim sims of any kind - regular, home made, steamed, fried and I'd eat the South Melbourne dim sims all of these ways and probably even frozen if I was hungry enough.

I love the extra sauces you can choose to have with them and you never get any soggy or "stale" tasting ones - probably because they are so popular and the volume of them being made is huge. Just like the size. Biggest I've ever seen.

Sometimes you have to wait for a while but it's totally worth it.

I was going to say that, based on past experience ... but a friend who went there just recently let me know they were disappointed. The dim sims were half the size and tasted no where as good. Why they would spoil something which worked so awesomely is beyond me. I hope it's not true.

Steamed, fried or ready to cook at home. The biggest in melbourne, and the most popular and raved about.
This place has been around ever since i can remember and longer, my friends will drive the 40 minutes just to get a few with soy or chilli sauce for something different.
Very popular, you won't regret the trip!

Even as I type this review I can feel my arteries hardening just at the thought of these dim sims, but I'm ok with that because they are just so yummy! And HUGE! South Melbourne Markets are a great place to shop anyway, but with these dim sims there, its an AWESOME place to shop!

These have to be the best in Melbourne! Freshest homemade dimsims and their always busy so you never get any cold or dry food. Absolutely love this place.

My favorite breakfast for when I shop at South melbourne market. I prefers the steamed ones. The chilly sauce condiment is heaven.

This is an institution and iconic in South Melbourne... since I was a small child playing at Dorcas Street Primary School across the road (before it became apartments)!! My mum always brought me these amazing mouthfuls of meaty glory each Friday... never ever get tired of them!

Simply the best dim sims in Melbourne, and probably the world (no other country has "dim sims"!) There is no "service" - you queue, you tell 'em what you want, you pay for it and you leave! Quickly, because there is a long line behind you.

You can get them steamed, fried or raw (cold) to take home to cook yourself. The stall only sells 4 things - dim sims, fried spring rolls, potato cakes (WTF?) and drinks. All you need for a balanced diet!

I have been coming here for almost 40 years. Warning: 3 dim sims is a filling lunch!

They really are the best dim sums I know. Well worth the effort to get to South Melbourne to try them. Do expect to queue for them as well. This place is a Melbourne institution and one of the things that makes this city great!

Let me tell you that you have never had dim sims or spring rolls like this. Dim Sim, and Spring Roll their 2 main product offerings. You'll never get a better tasting product anywhere.
