Ridge Jewellers @ the Underwood Marketplace are a great store. The ladies are always cheerful and willing to help. They take the time to listen to what you need or want.

I recently needed to get my engagement ring repaired quite urgently as my wedding was coming up, and I found Ridge Jewellers as they are close to my work. I was specifically looking for a small independent jeweller - one that would actually look after my jewellery with care.

I was so impressed by the friendliness of the staff and and quick turnaround in which my ring was repaired and had a rhodium plating added to it.

I will definitely be coming back to Ridge for the rest of my Jewellery needs.

This is really quite a nice jewellery store.
They are pretty expensive as a general rule, so I don't always go there as a starting point when I am looking, but they have some nice unique things, which is why I often end up there after seeing the same thing in every other store and getting bored of it.
As seems to be the way with many jewellery shops, the staff are quite abrupt, and do actually treat you differently according to how you look. When I go in after work they tend to be a more friendly than when I go in on holidays, when I look really classy in my thongs.
They are pretty knowledgable about their products though, and make good suggestions when directly asked for assistance or opinions.
Also, they do tend to have nice trinket type things on a table at the front that are relatively cheap and make good last minute presents for people.
