dissapointed with the stale buns on our burgers, they certainly werent baked on the day or seemed to be a few days old. I love Oportos and as rule always look for an outlet around wherever I am. I felt the meal i shared last night was not reflective of the usual high standard served at other outlets

Absolutely love how the burgers are made to order, and my chips are never completely drenched in oil. This shop can get extremely busy given it's smack bang in the middle of the city. However it's worth the 5 minute wait for a delicious burger. The prices are pretty decent as well.
Oportos is a fantastic Australian takeawy chain. The food is always fresh and ready made. It has all the taste and freshness that is so desperately lacking from the garbage you get from mcdonalds. The chicken isnt processed garbage thats deep fried but fresh and grilled, and the chilli(bondi) sauce is now an aussie tradition too!
Who doesn't love their fresh, tender chicken which you can buy whole, half or quarter? The chips are amazing - not drenched in oil like many fast food places and they add chicken salt instead of just plain salt (you can request plain salt if you want..). The prices are really great and it serves a very filling and yummy meal.
Agree with you about the chips. Not drenched in oil, and the burgers seem more healthy than other fast food chains.
I am loving oporto these days. They are better than hungry jacks. I love the veggie burger they have. The hot sauce is nice. Its very filling. One meal is too much for a normal person.

Different taste burger is available with chilli sauce. It is yummy. Like the can of drink. Different size of burger is avaialble. So can chose from it.
the food there are fresh and made on the spot. High quality food, i love thhe chicken there, they taste great. The value isnt that great, too expensive

Great burger, they would add extra chilli if you ask, or none at all if you dislike it. Best chips of any fast food outlet I know, and for once, staff that smile. The sauce is indescribably awesome.
