Clean, professional, friendly & efficient staff. Gourmet pizzas are absolutely mouthwatering and made with all fresh ingredients and herbs while you wait. Also, the sweets and coffee are absolutely devine. I can't wait to go back there again. Thank you for a lovely evening Monte's.
WOW. What a pizza. Amazing. Monte's came to our area sometime late 1980s and, boy, were they needed. We didn't know what a pizza was until we had a Monte pizza. Don't be deterred by their price, it is worth it just for the pleasure of a true pizza. Len Evans wrote a review of one of their pizzas and included the recipe in his book - now that doesn't happen everyday.

Had a small customer service issue. Owner called me personally to rectify the situation. I was very pleased with the result. I wish him and his team all the best.

Monte's makes the best pizza in the area. I love the wood fire pizzas and the pasta. The service is good too.
I love Monte's pizza, their pizzas are really tasty. This pizza place gets so busy, so it is best to order early or be prepared to wait. I love the base of the pizzas too, they are thin and crispy. My favourite pizza is their bolognese pizza.
When it comes to gourmet pizza and pastas, Monte's is the place to be. Everything works well -- the ambiance, the service and most definitely the food. Have dinner inside or al fresco for a wonderful evening with friends. Can't wait to go back!
Great gourmet pizzas in the mountains. Has a nice menu with salads and deserts. Small restaurant that is run by the owner so he has a vested interest to make sure things are running smoothly. Service with a smile and great value for real Italian pizza. You can also get takeaway although this can be slow at busy times. Eat inside or outside for a pleasant evening with friends.

This is a gem of a find if you are travelling up or down the mountain. We stopped in for dinner and had a starter and a main each, with soft drinks the bill came to a bit over $70. Keep in mind that they have a 5% Sunday surcharge and an additional CC surcharge (1% i think).
The decor is very nice. We were there fairly early and got a table but the place gets very busy very quickly. Our suggestion to you is to be sure to make a reservation.
They have a whole range of gluten free meals available. We had lovely pasta dishes which were very generous serves. The pizza's looked delicious and we wanted to try one but were too full.
The only drawback was that there was only one person waiting on tables so when it got busy, service suffered. However, we had a great meal and will be back soon to try those pizza's!
Approximate cost: $20
We tried Monte's for the 1st time a month ago and have been back at least weekly ever since, the pizza and pasta is just delicious and the desserts are beautiful, my brother ordered the sticky date and it was a huge slab, not a little slither most restaurants serve up. Love it and highly recommend to everyone!
I hate to say this, as montes used to be my all time favourite pizza place, but over the last 12 months things have really gone down hill. The takeaway pizza is constantly dissapointing, and being able to eat in is almost an impossibility! The place is always jammed to full and you can't hear or move. Hopefully it picks up again, as the staff are amazing and the atmosphere used to be equal!
Approximate cost: $25-40
