Had a great night here for a special occasion. Great service, great food. Steak was perfect with perfectly cooked scallops and prawns on top... Many places this would be over cooked... Well done!

Have heard mixed reviews and now can understand why.
We went on lunch and had a pleasant meal. The service was friendly and personable.
We then we back on Thursday night and some of the meals were good (stir fry and the special lamb cutlets) but the open lamb souvlaki was very average. Presentation was not restaurant quality, which is what this place advertises itself as.
The waitress we had seemed a bit 'fake' constantly at our table asking if everything was ok. I understand this is her job but it got a bit over the top and was not genuine.
Seems to be a bit hit or miss here. Would not hurry back.

Meals are pretty good, but sometimes it depends which chef is on. The menu has a good variety on it & being a family owned/run business they're very friendly & always ask for your comments on your experience which they listen too & try to improve on if there was any issues. Menu is reasonably priced too

I like either having a coffee or a meal here. The foods good and on a nice day you can sit outside in the sun.

Fantastic food highly recommended a little on the expensive side but well worth the money. Very nice staff and great service.

amazing... its so hard to find restaurants that actually cater to you needs, and are easy to approach. This is a family run business and is just amazing how friendly and professional the staff are. The food tastes so fresh and is cooked as you order. Nothing is pre-cooked about this place. Highly recommend it to anyone

This is a nice restaurant... They have a great outdoor area. The atmosphere is also good inside. The food is good and the service is what you would get in most restaurants.

We had booked in at Ashcotts for tea at 7.30pm setting for 4 people and ordered our first round of pre dinner drinks, we had our 2nd round of drinks and still hadn't been asked for our food order, 13 other patrons had arrived had their pre dinner drinks and had placed their food orders, I approached the waitress who directed the waiter to our table after a 1hr wait.

This is a high quality restaurant caters to a big group of people or just a couple of friends. There's a sheltered outside area and also a few umbrella's so smokers are catered for. The food takes some time to come out but if you have good company with you it's a a great environment to relax and the town looks great from the higher ground vantage point - or it seems higher. I've only always ordered steak here, they make it to order and it is amazing with a nice huge balsamic vinegar salad and chips - lovely. Everything done to a great quality standard - and it's all mouth wateringly delicious.
