Darren and Daniel take pride in their work and the warranty gives you peace of mind. They were so professional I used their services to block pest entry as well.

Very recently, we had the pleasure of meeting Darren Green and his assistant, Daniel, from the company Zeropests (Melbourne) for the first time.

Living in Melbourne’s leafy south eastern suburbs, a perennial concern is containing our nocturnal visitors. Reminded of Lionel Richie’s hit ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’, we knew that the Nocturnal Dance needed to be brought to a halt.

With a detailed internet search, we finally settled upon chancing Zeropests. This is not our normal means of operation, tending to rely on the recommendations made by friends for such services. I phoned and left a message one evening on the Zeropests number, much to my surprise I received a return phone call from Darren within the hour. I was very impressed by this alone. Darren was keen to know the nature of the concerns and asked a number of important questions, while at the same time providing particular insights relevant to the nature and habits of our nocturnal visitors.

Darren came to do a full inspection of our property a day following this initial contact and conversation. This in itself was impressive. We found Darren to be very thorough, we needed him to be. Within a short period of time he was able to isolate a number of variables; the nature of the problem (the what), the means of entry and exit (the where and the how), the extent of the problem and a plan on what needed to occur and a time frame around all of this, including the co-ordination of corrective work from our builder, roof tiler and plumber. Darren has made himself available to speak with each of our tradespersons prior to any work commencing.
Once the inspection was completed, the ensuing discussion became the focus. Darren made it very clear on what needed to be done and to come back to him once the activity had been eliminated or, if within a fortnight, the activity continued for which he would return.
Within the hour of his leaving, we had received a copy of the photographs he had taken not only for our reference but especially important to our tradespersons.
Ultimately, fundamental questions rest with any client.
Were we satisfied with the prompt response and quality of the service – absolutely.
Would we have Darren/Zeropests return – absolutely….but I hope not!
Did we receive a professional service – most definitely
Would we recommend Darren and Zeropests to others – most definitely.
I am once again reminded that despite my misguided sense around using the internet to locate quality personnel to assist in what is a very specialised domain, Darren and Zeropests surpassed our expectations.
