I had an issue with some bad behaviour with a taxi driver, so I contact the company via a web form on their website.
I got no response.
So 11 days later I rang the head office, they gave me an admin email to resend the complaint to and took my name and number.
I got no response.
So I rang again 12 day later. They took my name and phone number again and they promised to raise it with the manager. Later that day I finally get an email. It talked about how they dealt with the driver (which was fine) but then claimed that I had not asked for a response, so they didn't reply.
I thought this was pretty poor customer service and was unprofessional and sent a replay saying as much. And you guessed it, I got no response.
So five days later I email again, demanding a response. I get replay which said, in short: That management had read my email, disagreed with my concerns, classified them as opinions and so had felt no reason to respond.

Yeah......., says it all doesn't it? You're better of using a different company then combined yellow cabs. Any other company in fact.

I would definitely recommend yellow cabs over most other cab companies. On time (actually, usually early), friendly drivers, reasonable prices (as reasonable as cabbies can be).

This would have to be the single worst experience I have ever had with a cab company. It's experiences like this that tarnish the whole industry.

In December last year, I called Yellow around 4pm and made a booking for a cab to pick me up at about 6pm (plenty of notice you would think).

6.30 rolls around, no sign of the cab, OK, it's Saturday night, there's a lot of functions on this time of year, I can understand they may be running late.

7pm - still no sign, so I call them to enquire. "We're very busy tonight" was the response (I kind of guessed that when you were an hour late "it will be there as soon as possible"

7.30pm - STILL no sign. Another call to Yellow "We're very busy tonight" is this a recording? Still no apology for being 90 minutes late. Is the cab en-route to me at this point in time? Will it be here in the next couple of minutes? "No it isn't" At this point I decided to cut my losses with this company and suggested a dark and uncomfortable place to park their cab.
