5 reviews about Woolworths

We took the opportunity to catch up with some basic shopping needs while having a quiet day. Woolworths brand full cream milk was not available when shopping this afternoon. However the butcher's area was staffed which can be unusual. Full range of meat on display. Many shelves were needing to be restocked. I do not blame the staff as the store is very small and cannot service the growing area well. Disappointing as other Woolworth store are much better.

Some days when I get to Woolies it's great but a majority of the times it's unacceptable. The Everyday Rewards scheme is a shame. You have to go to the store about everyday to get a new voucher. If you try to purchase $60 worth of groceries you only get 1 fuel voucher. I can't just spend $30 every day, I have better things to do than to go grocery shopping everyday. I have children, so I try to shop once a week but I loose the vouchers.
And some of the young staff need to mean it when they say hello. Most of them don't even make any eye contact.

I am really disgusted with their fuel coupons. I usually spend about $90 a week there and have always broken down the bill to 3 so that I can get more coupons and have had no problems but now they won't allow it. I even spoke to the manager whom couldn't really help me. They had a customer service rep call me and she basically told me that she can't help me either. So I informed her that I will only spend $30 a week with them when I needed a fuel voucher and shop elsewhere on other days as Foodland has similar prices and she told me to go ahead. Some customer service rep. Well they lost a loyal customer and some of my friends are doing the same. Shame on you.

Pretty average as far as supermarkets go. They stock a range of brands, from the lower to the higher end in both quality and price. The staff are friendly, if not allusive at times. The waiting times at checkouts are reasonable.

supermarket that has usual sort of lines that supermarkets provide. Is a bit smaller store than some but has majority of major brand names as well as home brand options. Has a good community board

Like all supermarkets - particularly at peak times - there are never enough staff on checkouts and there is no apparent leadership to rectify the problem...
