I ordered a pick up and was very impressed. Beautiful fresh fish and great chips - maybe the portions could be a bit bigger? The restaurant itself had a great ambience and lovely friendly staff. I would love to sit and eat oysters in the lovely gardens one day when my children are bigger!

Different experience at the ridge shopping centre..
you were lucky buying from the range..maybe that is the difference......were is the quality control.
We bought 2 supavalaue fish packs beacuse the promotional flyers illustration gave us the impression that the fish pack showed value for money and the food looked lovely....much to my disgust at opening the packs we found that the serves in reality were a childs size..21 small chips and a piece of nearly burnt 8cm X 10cm size piece of fish...which was very dry/overcooked.
I consider this a false and misleading advertising
and promotion.
We have had lunches and dinners a the resturant at various times and beacuse the quality and presentation had been excellent we had no hesitation in trying your take away foods. Some people may think that this food is definatlley living up to the name of Back door...my lunches ended up in the rubbish tin.
I'm sure that this would not happen at the CUCKOO in the dandenongs.........
What a dissapointment.....
