The menu says that there is alcohol for sale but despite three pre arrival phone calls when we (party of 6) arrived we were told there was only one can of beer. No alcohol before 12, we arrived at 12, boys tossed a coin for who got the beer! Some wine was found but only three wine glasses. Staff very friendly and food ok but maybe not the venue for adults wanting a drink with their lunch. Two of us rang the day before and on the day to request byo and told no yet the information regarding the availability of beer and wine was very misleading.

I was planning to go to Wyee recently by train, but got stuck at Warnervale due to an accident on the rails. While waiting for the buses to show up, I checked out Warnies Café, immediately adjacent to the station, It is a local institution, occupying an historic old building with lots of charm and atmosphere, in a rapidly growing part of the Central Coast. The cafe was also quite busy for a Friday morning, with a lot of people ordering coffee and the all-day breakfasts. I drank a Café Mocha, which was all right, not too expensive. I noticed that alcohol goes on sale after lunch. I saw a Mexican platter for sale for $43.

Only go if you have kids that want the crazy shakes. Nothing else impressive there. Staff were rude to a number of people in our party, even though we had reserved. Waited in line for 30 minutes to order, being pushed to and fro as the unhappy staff shoved past to get to the crammed tables to deliver the food. I felt sorry for the people on the tables impacted by the very long queue. Then it took 45 minutes to deliver food and they got a simple order wrong. I won't be going back. 1 hour and 15 minutes from order to delivery is not good. Approx $75 for 4 burgers, 1 cup of tea and 1 coke. Recommend you order 2 drinks at first, as you wouldn't want to wait this long again. I personally did not like the fact that dogs are encouraged.

we used to use wyee but now have changed to using the warnervale station due to the warnies cafe. its nice to grab a drink and relax before or after the train and you can sit inside or outside depending on the weather. if you have kids, there is park across the road but another small playground out back so you can relax while the kids have fun!

Nice cafe. It is great to take friends with kids there and let them play at the park across the road, watch the trains go past and have a drink or a bite to eat. It is very relaxing and social place to go.

Nice place to stop and have a bite to eat. Staff are friendly and polite. Have yet to try the cakes but they look really yummy.

My kids love going to Warnies. They love the playground and to take their bikes for a ride. They love the trains going past. Oh and the food is good too. It is nice even just to sit & have a coffee and chat while the kids play.
