I would never reconmmend this business
I booked a return of a faulty coffee machine that Transdirect couriers delivered to us on the 22nd of June the Vendor asked me to use transdirect to book a collection this I did and paid for on the evening of the 22nd and was advised to expect collection on the 23rd. This did not happen and subsequently I have had to rebook every day it is now the 30th of June and the item is still here , despite many ours on the deplorable phone system trying to find out when the item will be collected , to no avail and countless emails promising me that the item will be collected the next day it is now 8 days since I booked a collection and the item has not left , and they have no idea when it will be collected , Very Quick to take the payment up front but unable to deliver. or even know what couriers they have or where they are , very frustrating and a waste of my valuable time . The Vendor is annoyed that the faulty coffee machine has not been returned at this rate it will be out of warranty by the time Transdirect manages to find a courier ,

Pathet! No care is taken at all. If your item could be damaged in transport it will be. Also arrived 3 days late. No refund no care for their customers.

Shocking. Awful. Bad. Horrific. Untrustworthy.

If these guys decide, they will keep your credit card details and slap you with extreme extra charges. It won't happen straight away, they wait a while to make it harder to follow up.

Scammers, you will post an item with them and AFTER it arrives maybe a month later they will bill your credit card for extra fees.
They don't even offer an explanation of why let alone any proof that extra fees were necessary. AVOID!

Beware! Very Bad Experience
Beware!! If things go wrong (which let's face it happens often with couriers) they refuse to help. They ignore emails, mislead you with wrong information and most frustrating of all they will refuse to take any responsibility. Currently reporting to ACCC. They are well aware of who Transdirect is because of so many complaints. Unfortunately, they continue to get away with it.

I have posted with Transdirect in the past with no issues. I have always posted using the same box from Bunnings. A medium tea chest box that measures 43 x 41 x 60cm. In the past I’ve never had an issue with measurements. This time however I was charged an extra $90 on delivery for 1 parcel and nearly an extra $175 for another parcel. Both supposedly measured 45 x 43 x 62. When I queried the issue they took weeks to get back to me. I provided them with a link to show them the box I used. I even provided them with previous evidence of boxes I’d posted with them in the past where they weren’t charged ludicrous extra fees. Their reply was “you need to provide photo evidence of the actual box with a measuring tape against all 3 sides otherwise we will not do anything about the issue” I replied asking for them to provide photographic evidence that they measured my box with those measurements. They refused to do so saying that they couldn’t provide that evidence. It’s absolutely ludicrous that they demand that evidence from their customers when they can’t provide it themselves. I find it rather suspicious that them bumping up the box measurements by the amount that they did meant that one of the boxes cost about $230 to post instead of $55 and the other about $145 instead of $55. You can bump it up on their website by centimetres until you get to these measurements and it still remains at about $55-60 (I checked to make sure that the price they had charged for those dimensions was actually the correct amount) It’s an absolute scam and they need to be held accountable. Strange how you could also post 3-4 boxes at the same measurements that my boxes actually were than what you can for the measurements that they claim my boxes were. Transdirect also refused to allow me to resolves the issue over the phone due to “record keeping purposes”.

DO NOT use them whatever you do. The worst consumer support I have EVER received from any company. Use Australia Post because atleast then you know what you’re paying and they don’t rip money out of your account without permission.

My parcel weighed 7kg and they claim it weighs 30kg and have billed me!!!!
Great pick up and delivery, then out of the blue 3 weeks later they send me an email stating they’re going to charge me $150 as my parcel weighed 30kg not 27kg!! They then proceeded to deduct the money from my PayPal account! I have disputed this with PayPal but it seems the company opened a billing agreement with me via PayPal - without my consent - and PayPal will not do anything because of this. How can they illegally open a billing agreement without my consent then proceed to deduct money whenever they like? AND.... my parcel only weighed 7 kg so I don't know where they got either 27kg or 30kg, yet, they have the nerve to charge me $150!!! I have emailed them several times and they are standing by their EXTRA charge.

I have even tried to replicate their charge by entering different dimensions and weights, eg: I have increased the parcel size to 72cm long 70cm wide 70cm high and almost quadrupled the original weight to 27kg as opposed to my ORIGINAL and CORRECT information of 43.00cm. x 41.00cm. x 60.00cm 7kg and the difference is only $111.90 BUT my parcel was nowhere near this weight or these dimensions! If it had been the courier would not have been able to lift it, not only that, at this weight the TransDirect website states this: "ATTENTION - ITEM EXCEEDS 25kgs.
Items that exceed 25kgs. must be securely packaged on a forklift able Skid, Pallet or Crate. "

As my package was easily lifted by not only the courier, but also myself a 60year plus woman, there is no way that my parcel was any other dimensions and weight than I entered into the TransDirect website.

This company is a rort and I will be taking this further as it is in effect stealing. STEER CLEAR!!

Courier collected by item on 1 December, 2020 and as of 27 December, 2020 not delivered, cannot contact the company without waiting an hour on the phone. Have requested a insurance form on 3 occasions - not received [removed sentence]. Taking legal action to recoup either the $800 guitar that was being couriered or the value of same.

Avoid this company by all means!

Used them to get an envelope containing a contract sent to me. No problem there. 2 days later I booked them to return the signed contract to th conveyancer.

Weeks later, I receive an email, stating that I under declared the item and that I d be fined $108 dollars. Between receiving and reading the email, was about an hour. In that time they had already taken the money out of my account. No proof was given, no chance to dispute, nothing.

I sent them an email asking for clarification and stating that my parcel was an A4 envelope.

It took em 3 days to even reply to anything. Then they said they d look into it and later on sent a mail, saying that the courier had measured and weighed my parcel and that I measured 80cm x 60cm x 26 cm and therefore the fine.

I tried to tell em that that is not my parcel they are fining me for.

Their reply was that it is up to me to prove that they are wrong.

Money gone. Customer gone too.

Avoid these scammers coz this could happen to you too

The package was picked up a day late and I was advised the item was damaged before it was delivered. The excess for a claim was $100 - more than the value of the item.
Very disappointed in the service and no explanat6ion about how the item was damaged, or an apology offered.
