My first Suzuki 4WD was an LJ50, 350cc two-stroke, followed by various others and currently driving a 1998 Grand Vitara V6 2.5ltr with 352,000kms on it. Had a recent issue with misfiring which went through 2 different RAA mechanical/electrical approved repairers. Took 3 wasted days and $250 and no resolution to problem. Took it to James Pallis at Suzuki In The City on Goodwood Rd, and he diagnosed and showed me the problem after a few minutes. Has fixed it today and now runs sweetly again, hence the above rating. James has been there since 1998, so knows his stuff!!

1. They rolling back the odometer so that a car seems to have low kilometers.
2. When you take the car you're buying for a test drive, they'll do anything to prevent you from noticing a problem.
bought one of my cars here, couldnt recommend them highly enough, great service, they even added extra on to my car when i asked without charging, very professional and helpful staff, great cars never had a problem with the car i bought from them, picking up my car after purchasing didnt take long and i feel they really look after their customers
I recently needed a new battery for my car I rand up and was told it would be $130.00 and a few cents. So I attended with the intention of having a battery fitted. Imagine my surprise on being told the battery was $170.00 complete time wasters.
I have been going to this company for many years and several cars.
25+years (about 500,000Km) of motoring and not a breakdown may be a reflection on Suzuki cars or the business.
They know Suzuki's and they do the work they say they will.
This business changed ownership about a year ago and got more formal.
Now the office guys wear ties.
I had to get the check engine light fixed on my Suzuki. I took it to Suzuki in the City who charged me $50 just to look at it to see what was wrong apparently because they have to use an expensive computer to test it. I had to leave the car there for a morning although it probably didn't take long, since it is quite simple. They said i had to have a particular part replaced and quoted me about $550. I took it to another mechanic who only needed 30 minutes to change the part which cost $120, charging $60 for labour.
I think Suzuki in the City are THIEVES. I am really disgusted at how they tried to take advantage of a young female. I really could not have afforded that much money.
Friendly staff, always helpful when my car needs a service or repair. Reasonably priced. My car is always fixed within half a day. A nice extra is they send me a christmas card each year :)
