Looking for new glasses, or getting them upgraded? This is the value capital of Brisbane. They have versatile frames, cheap prices, good quality lenses, and great customer service. I don't plan on going anywhere else since I found them. I have recommended them to a few residents, and the feedback from them is BRILLIANT!

I'm so glad I just read your review and realized that there's a spec savers at Kippa Ring.
As I need some new glasses desperately :-)

I have tried quite a few opticians, and have had some very bad experiences. I was loath to try another one, but I needed glasses and they were there. I walked in and told them what I wanted, that I was a holder of a concession card. They didn't treat me any differently than a paying customer. I had my eye test, took in my old glasses, and they changed the lenses for $45. I also got a new pair through the govt scheme, and now have no problem finding a pair at home. They listened and responded, that's all we can ask for. They were really great!

Approximate cost: $45.00

After browsing through the frames at my optometrist, I decided to try Spec Savers. I couldn't justify the cost at my own optometrist, and Spec Savers were more than happy to provide me with two pairs of complete glasses with no out of pocket expenses. All I did was take in a copy of my latest prescription from my regular optometrist. Service was very good.

I'd previously been to the SpecSavers at North Lakes (also fantastic) but decided to try Kippa-Ring as they were much closer to home. The service I received was absolutely brilliant! The optometrist was very thorough and answered all of my questions (including thoughts on lasik surgery) and Tracey, the assistant who helped me pick out the frames I wanted, was amazing - unbelievably helpful and very friendly. The price of the glasses was expensive but as I wanted rimless titanium 'frames', this was to be expected (though I managed to get half of that back from my health fund). Their other frames are VERY decently priced though, especially considering it's a '2 for the price of 1' deal. I would most definitely return!

Approximate cost: $500
