A very relaxing informative afternoon. Heather and Pop explain the history of the area in an interesting manner and also have a good knowledge of the wildlife in the area.

We had a group of 20 plus 2 tourist couples. We all enjoyed the cruise immensely. The Sydney couple thought it "tops". It is one of a kind as far as we were concerned. Worth every cent!

I went on a Sunset Cruise on Sunday 2 December, with a group that had organised the trip as our Christmas party. I also took my husband and two small children (aged 4 years and 11 months). We all had an amazing time, service was friendly and natural and the surrounds were beautiful. It was a lovely, relaxing afternoon and I think incredibly good value for money as all up, including the bus ride to the boat, the trip went for over 2.5 hours. We did not have to pay for the children at all, which was also a bonus, as at most places I have to pay for the 4 y.o. I would highly recommend these cruises to people of all ages, and have been doing so to everyone I've spoken to since we went! Thanks so much Pop and Heather.

I attended a business Christmas Party on a sunset cruise: what a beautiful setting and great atmosphere, and so close to Townsville. Pop and Heather did a great job of sharing their knowledge of the Ross River Dam, the history and wildlife.

This was a very relaxing and beautiful cruise. We did the Sunset Cruise and found it lovely and cool after the hot day. Seeing the birds and kangaroos was a great experience.

A Wonderful way to spend a few hours celebrating a birthday. Extremely pleasant on the water with the cooling breeze. Great commentary by Pop and service by Heather. Interesting wildlife. Definitely recommended.

the owners are very friendly and accomodating, allowing my group to customise to what suited us - very professional, relaxing, a wonderful nature experience without leaving Townsville - so many species of birds + kangaroos and wallabies to top the morning off, the boat is perfectly set up, Thanks!

A wonderful way to spend 2-3 hours in beautiful, peaceful and relaxing surroundings. I travelled with a group of bird-watchers and nature-lovers and we had some wonderful close-up views of birds (over 40 species) and other wildlife on the lake and the shores. The venture up Stony Creek was delightful. Pop and Heather provided just the right amount of commentary, giving us some information on the wildlife, the history of the area and the dam, without being intrusive. The shady boat and gentle breeze kept us all cool despite the heat elsewhere. We all loved it - there was even a suggestion from some that we should stage a mutiny and refuse to disembark! So I guess we'll be back!

We had seen these tours advertised several times so while visiting our daughters requested they look into it for us. I have mobility issues but it was fine. There was an extra step into the bus for the ride to the boat and a ramp at the boat. These are major factors for me and I was delighted to be able to go on such a lovely trip. Our 9 year old Grand Daughter and our two daughters and son-in-law all enjoyed the outing and the scenery was lovely; such serene scenes and the birds were great. Well worth the effort and sorry we put it off so long.
