I have found Polaris realty in Beechboro to be of excellent service and the staff to be very knowledgeable, .they sold my property with the utmost care. Suzanne has been there for me all the time as well as Robyn. I found them to be very professional in the dealings of the property and they kept me informed of what was happening, nothing was too much trouble, I appreciate all the work that had been done from all of the staff. Property owners beware. This "Property Manager" provided the worst level of service that I have ever experienced anywhere. They rented my very well presented house to a family of two adults and six children who turned it into a tip in less than a year. When we finally managed to get the tenants out, some six weeks beyond the requested vacancy date, Polaris Realty's management were happy to return the property to me in a state that can only be described as filthy, with a long list of defects and items that the agent refused to acknowledge as substandard, including an infestation of cockroaches, filth on every wall, disgusting toilets and showers, damaged window treatments etc. The delay in vacating the property was bad enough but being treated so poorly after the fact just rubs salt in the wound. The motive behind this company's failure to have the house professionally cleaned when it was blatantly obvious this was required is unclear. Why they would rather return bond money to tenants that showed no regard for a landlord's property defies logic, other than the fact that they re-rented some other poor property investor's house to the same people and we terminated our Property Management Agreement with Polaris. Perhaps their loyalty stays with their income stream, regardless of what is fair and right. My advice would be to look elsewhere for a property manager. If I had to sum this company up in three words they would be Unprofessional, Uncommunicative and Untrustworthy. If anyone has cause to doubt my assessment I would be pleased to forward photographs of my property, taken the day after Polaris had signed the place off as being in a satisfactory condition to return to the owner.
