Stopped by there for delicious afternoon tea. Lovely variety on menu. Hot and cold beverages available. Staff all friendly and service was fast considering it was busy with constant line for take away drinks and foods. Prices compare about average. Quirky, interesting, eclectic decor, heaps of seating inside and under veranda. Central location, heaps of nearby parking. Really lovely experience.

This is my favourite cafe in Bendigo. The coffee is always great and the food is amazing, but what tips it over the edge is the friendly staff and warm atmosphere. I love the crochet nanna blankets you can use if you want to sit out the front in winter, and the old 50's tables and chairs. Where else can I have great coffee, unique and delicious brunch, and buy a vintage frock in their upstairs area all at the same time? It's a win for me.
The downside is the coffee queue can sometimes stretch out the door, so if you're after a morning takeaway coffee in a hurry it might be a good idea to go somewhere else.

the coffee here i found tastes more like warm milk than actual coffee, for the price paid for it it would have been cheaper to go elsewhere in bendigo

Great cafe. The large coffee ($4) was really nice. The toasted lamb roti ($12) was really good although not the biggest serving size. Nice central location and good service. Will definitely return.

The atmosphere of this cafe is very welcoming. It is tastefully designed and has a real 'home' feel to it. The staff are very polite and their customer service is excellent. The price of their food is very cheap and the quality is tremendous. I'll definitely be going back there!

I visited this cafe this morning and had a yummy organic fruit toast and cuppucino. The fruit toast which is thick cut was perfect and still hot when it arrived at my table. And the coffee was amazing. I really like the decor as well - very different. The staff were very friendly. It's in a quieter part of Bendigo on the corner of Lyttleton Terrace and Mundy St and therefore it was really easy to park in Mundy St.

Relax, share and enjoy the ambience the is the Old Green Bean. The coffee is the best, food is great and the service will have you coming back, just because that's how you like to be treated. Yep, I'm there regularly/often and I like it!

A good place to go for brunch with a vibrant atmosphere. They sell Organic and Fair Trade coffees. The last time I went here the cappuccinos were served warm/hot rather than steaming hot - they had to be drunk straight away or they would have gone cold. Food is your basic cafe style but well cooked and presented nicely.

Arguably the best coffee in Bendigo. Yum. Food is nice too. Full bodied & strong, how I like it. Consistently nice coffee. Staff are always friendly too.

Approximate cost: $4
