A brilliant little pub in the Southern Tasmania Wilderness.

Right next to Russel Falls National Park, it is a small and comfortable pub.

It does get a bit crowded from time to time, but the RSL up in Maydena isn't too far away if you want a quiet drink or bottle shop out this way.

Great food and not really a long wait

We had a beautiful meal here, when we first arrived in Tasmania. The service was great, very affordable and the meal it self was just perfect, not too much just right. The atmosphere in the dining area was very relaxing as well.

have only been here once in what must of been the front bar it was May so off season and at the time no meals available but it was a warm little bar if a little quiet but service was great will have to recheck the place in summer

Have had several meals here, always exceptional value. Friendly staff, lovely log fire, great to spend time in the bar afterwards and have a game of 8ball while listening to the Juke Box. This bar featured in the film The Hunter, which was shot in the area.
The Hotel is actually at National Park, 12kms from Maydena

A great country pub. Friendly and helpful publican. Do great meals, a little on the expensive side if you are feeding a family but worth the cost, very yummy. Love the big open fire in the dining room, would be a fantastic venue for a celebration.
