Metro is one of the best in town! Value for money and fantastic food! Service is great always greeted with a smile. Will keep going back, and recommend to anyone who wants a traditional fish and chips experience.

The fish and chips here are absolutely delicious but it's the burgers I keep going back for - their hamburger is so good and fresh and so filling and ugh just so mouth watering I'm thinking of eating one right now!! Beats any dodgy fast food burger by miles and miles!! The sizes of chip serves don't worry us as we usually order the minimum amount and a couple of scallops and you always get extra scallops when we order fish and chips and scallops!! Wonderful business :)

Absolutely lovely experience from metro. The staff are nice, the food is quick and it tastes amazing as well!!
would definitely go back again.
if anything the chip sizes are a bit small but then again good quality food costs a bit more. best tasting chips compared to other fish and chip shops that we've tried around town.
Also next time we will probably call up to try and avoid the queue when it gets busy.
Also found their website online http://metroseafood.com.au/
and its great for figuring out what you want to order and also how much its going to cost so you can figure out the amount of cash you'll need to bring considering they don't take card

but overall, BEST fish and chips in Toowoomba so far

Approximate cost: $15-20 ish

The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. It is best to place a phone order as they can get very busy.

Very good burgers, Fish is acceptable, Use a quality oil for frying however the chips your receive are not value for money for the price.

Really nice food however the chips are not value for money. Chips are pretty cheap but they seem to be the only fish and chip shop that thinks they are gold- very skimpy. In saying this, I continue to go back because the service isnt bad and it's close to home....

Approximate cost: $10

I travel from out of town regularly just for the great tasting fish and chips. I love the variety of fish, friendly staff and always feel I have received value for money. Sometimes there can be quite a wait, so i would also recommend phoning in and booking a time. Two Thumbs up.

Approximate cost: $8

very very very over priced

A $5 serve of chips was sufficient for one, we usually buy 4 fish and five dollars of chips but here you would need about $15!!

Approximate cost: $15

I am a regular customer of Metro Seafoods, and have also been to many other fish and chip stores in town. In comparison with other stores metro seafoods offer great value in chips especially because they are cholesterol free. But being healthy may not be a concern of yours if you need $15 worth of chips to feed your family.

We really enjoy the fish they sell, and their chips are reasonable value for money. We like to do phone orders, which is a good idea because they are often busy, and it's good not to have to wait in line. The location is great, with easy parking.
