Totally Happy, Loved our stay the food was amazing as was the Breakfast. There was nothing that was to much trouble. As I am Disable, they came to our room with things we needed on ringing the desk to ask. All the mod cons and then some.
We were Lucky and won a great night for a huge discount, with some places's you wouldn't get the service as good because of that. But they are the exception.

I have an advantage plus card so i often use it at the Mecure. the al a ca-rte dining room is warm and cosy in winter, with an open fire place.Sometimes there is a pianist to enhance the atmosphere.The meals are always great, nicely presented and not too large and the service is very professional, we like it too because before the entree you are given a complimentary appetizer and then after the entree something to cleanse the palate. desserts are yummo and the cheeses and extensive wine on offer are great.I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to have a romantic or special dining experience.You can then wander into the bar room and, again in front of a fire, relax in their big antique leather chairs or play billiards.The land and sea buffet is good value too with the advantage plus card, the prawns and oysters are delicious and fresh, as too is the wide variety of other dishes.I would however recommend arriving at 6;00 so as to have the first helpings to the buffet.The whole place is lovely,including outside on a warm summer night.Service and staff is great.Parking is ample.

Went to the Land & Sea buffet and it was beautiful. Delicious food that you could tell was fresh and a variety to die for. Their shopadocket 50% off makes this buffet more affordable too.

The service was a little slack but the food makes up for it, and the cook was fantastic too.

We made our initial inquiries here for our wedding reception. Having experienced their buffet style meals before we knew the quality was going to be very good, but the price for such an event is not cheap.
They were pretty flexible though for the things we were thinking of doing.
