Our experience with McGowan Homes was disappointing as we had significant issues throughout our build in 2022. Poor communication from the builder cost us more money in variations and a range of unsatisfactory outcomes. We had to get the QBBC AND HIA involved during our build. We weren’t happy with the quality of finishing from McGowan Homes contractors either, particularly the painting and electrical and would not recommend Elite Electrical as our dealings with that company throughout the build were very unsatisfactory.
