we have been to the monk a few times and have really enjoyed it, the food it great and can choose the monk beer to try. its a neat place to take friends for the first time, great atmosphere.

Went for tapas because the location was good (we hadn't gone specifically for this place). The food was nice, pizza a bit bare. The fire balls taste nice. beers are good, so much better from a tap. They were out of a few of the dishes which was a shame so that let us down a bit. Prices are on the higher side but that's Fremantle for you. The place is young and hip
Approximate cost: $15-20
I have only ever been to Mad Monk for tapas and drinks with friends, however I have been there many many times and the staff have always been friendly and happy to help, to the point where I was able to get some lip balm one day from one of the girls there, their signature beers are beautiful and the food is just delicious. The thing I love most about Mad Monk is the atmosphere and the design of the restraunt
Approximate cost: $18.50
The food is great at Mad Monk, and there are a range of different (not just your standards) on the menu. The serving sizes are quite small so can leave you with that not-quite-full feeling. The bread they make fresh on the premises is yum. The decor is very funky, I even felt that despite being a young person, perhaps I wasn't cool enough to be in here - true Fremantle spirit!
Approximate cost: $20
Excellent location. right in the middle of the coffee strip in Fremantle. the service has awlays been good and the beer thats brewed on the premises taste really good. the food portion is slightly small for the price you pay.
Approximate cost: $20
