potential to be a fantastic restaurant. However some of the minor details make it a step below the competition around the area.

I've eaten at Kampung Story several times and love the food - especially the lunch special of $10.50 which is well worth it.
Staff, value and quality is generally very good, depending on what dish you order.
I ordered a Laska soup only once and was disappointed to eat only 2 very small pieces of chicken within the entire bowl, whereas I have ordered it previously and was delighted to eat several chunky pieces of meat and prawns. amazing service the staff were nice & prompt and explained exactly what the meals had ingredients wise (i'm horrible with asian food so i tend to be a bit picky) they have a cheap lunch meal deal for $10.50 as well which includes an appetizer, main and drink - was definitely full afterwards

Really enjoyed our meal at Kampung Story, probable the nicest fried rice I have ever had. The lemon chicken wasn't as "fake" or sweet as some places. Service was good.
