My second visit and last! After a great first experience I rebooked for a cut and a half head foils. I was persuaded to have toner so I did. After asking about the price I was quoted $150 because I was booking on a Wednesday which was a slow day and considered a discount day. Had to wait 1 hour after app time to begin service. After wards I was asked for $245!!!Why? Because Boss suddenly changed discount day and each component was extra. Managed to reduce price but won't return. Be wary as apparently this happens frequently.

I have been going to this hairdresser for years but no more after yesterday...got stung and the worst hair cut/colour I've ever had anywhere, here or overseas.

Went in with dark chocolate shoulder length hair, wanting foils to lighten it and a trim. Got quote of $310!!! In the end got it reduced to $225 just to do the roots with the same colour I had and 1/4 heads of foils with a trim....still very overpriced but expected a good service.

3 hour later, the colour has come out the dullest, dung coloured old lady brownish and foils not to be seen. Went straight from there after wasting $225 of my hard earned wages to Priceline and bought a $9 colour that took it back to the colour I walked in with.

Asked for a fringe to be cut in...looks like someone (who must really have a warped sense of humour) put a bowl on my head. On the right side of my face the hair is about 4-5cms shorter than the left....add to that the dye on my forehead and both wrists from the gown.

I left so disappointed and embarrassed.....if your client goes straight to Priceline to cover up your work and then goes home and cries you've failed....now I understand why there were only 2 customers in there (I was one) on a Saturday afternoon.

Better salons around, this one overpriced and gave me the worst hair cut I've ever had...AVOID!!!

Approximate cost: $225

My first time at Hair Religion, and it was awesome. Kayla did my hair, and she definitely knows what she's doing. Will be coming back for sure. Best place to have your hair coloured. I got ombre balayage done on my very thick long hair :)

Approximate cost: $344

What a fantastic experience. Just went in for first time for dry haircut and ended up getting complimentary shampoo which was wonderful with head massage. Had the best haircut ever and can't wait to go back for my colour next week. Deb was fantastic with great ideas.

These guys did a really good job on my hair colour, but I wasn't as impressed with the cut. (Not bad, just not my best!). Besides this the staff were friendly and experienced, the range of hair products available was great- especially when staff had been highly trained and could recommend based on my hair type. Overall a good experience.

Awesome stylist ask for Shannon or Deb this place is amazing what a gem salon . The salon itself is new and very funky very private so no onlookers as you sit there with cap and foil etc looking a bit silly. It's so nice to have quality service and not have to pay too much . Hair Religion is my stylist team for sure . Fussy is my middle name

Have had a couple of things done here now. Stylists are all extremely competent as well as being friendly and helpful. They don't try to push products onto you but will recommend things that they think will help if you ask. Recently had my hair done here for a party (styled 1920's) and got so many awe-filled compliments at the party! Will definitely come back!
