German beer, music and food, it was the perfect place to take visitng family for lunch after a big day walking around Hahndorf. Drinks arrived promptly and our huge deliciious Taste of Germany Platter arrived soon after. Everyone love it and of course the beer. We finished off with the Dessert Platter, a nice array of yummy desserts including chocolate mousse and sticky date pudding with a delicious sauce. We all had a wonderful day in Hahndorf and lunch at the Hahndorf Inn finished off the day perfectly.

While spending the weekend in Hahndorf we decided to eat here for dinner. We had booked a table earlier in the day as it was a Saturday night and didnt know how busy they'd get. We went at 6pm so it was still fairly quiet. Staff were friendly. The meals came out quite quickly which was great. I had the porterhouse steak which was cooked perfectly, and the Rhine potatoes were just delicious. My boyfriend a combination of steak, sausage and pork belly. He gave me some of the sausage and pork belly to try and it was amazing! Meals weren't cheap but they were generous sizes and top quality. Will definitely be back soon. Want to try the 1 metre hot dog challenge!!

Always a favourite when we're in the area and all the relatives that visit from overseas loves this place too. They especially like the pork knuckle.
Atmosphere is always happening, as this place buzzes with tourists. Ensure you book if you want to go around customary meal times. Otherwise, if you're early, then can usually get a seat without too much fuss.
