We have spent 2.5k at this shop buying two timbertek FireWire boards. The boards arrived one month late and the communication from extreme boardriders was very poor. No apology was made. We had to call up and chase the boards ourselves. After 4 rides on the boards we discovered a crack on the top sheet of one of them. The board was faulty/soft and cracked on the top sheet straight along the timber grain. Extreme boardriders surf 'expert' said it was caused by an impact incident. I definitely wouldn't recommend a laminate top to anyone as surfing can create a crack.
Anyway the shop called to say it was my fault and that I should pay for it to get fixed. It took a 2 min search on social media to find other people with similar issues with their FireWire timbertek boards. With this evidence the shop representative told me to fix my riding technique. I finally got a direct number for FireWire with a push. After a short conversation to FireWire, they agreed to pay to fix the board without a push back. This obviously isn't the first time they have heard of this problem with their laminate surfboards. I continued to find the extreme boardridersstaff extremely rude including the moment I picked up my fixed board. I told them how disappointed I was with their service and their staff told me- yeh whatever, I don't need to hear that.
I would suggest that extreme boardriders begin to better value their customers and train their staff as my surfing community won't be back.

Brought a pair of Jandals here. They have a a good selection with an especially large range of 'Havaianas'. However found a pair by 'Sanuk' that were really really spongy and comfy. A bit costly as most things are but not crazy expensive at $45. Have a sale on at the moment but as always unfortunatley not on the thing I wanted.
