EIS were once an amazing, professional and well run organisation, that put their clients first. Tasmania is a very small state, and it is critical to keep standards high as to encourage return business, and new business, through word of mouth. My experience as a property owner, was the worst. Sub standard inspections that ended up costing me $10,000 in repairs!! EIS no longer have the high standards and professionalism that they were once known for. I would most certainly encourage people to go elsewhere.

I have rented through a few agancies in Hobart and I must say that EIS are the most efficient and professional yet! They were much faster than I expected when I asked them to repair a drainpipe - I emailed them in the morning and the repairman arrived the same afternoon. It is always easy to get in contact with someone at the office when you need to, which is a refreshing change. Obviously, as a tenant, I don't know how much they charge for their service, but if I ever bought a rental property, they would be top of my list as managers.
