Decided to try somewhere different to stay in Glenelg for an overnight trip to Adelaide. Sadly I feel trying somewhere new was a mistake. The room was very outdated and had no windows you could see out of, only small ones right up high which made it feel confined and stuffy. I had booked a room with a king bed, it was only a queen, and free foxtel was also offered but was not available. The bathroom just didnt seem clean and the floor was sticky. Staff were very nice at least but the room itself was just a terrible let down, especially for the price. There was also a loud motor noise (possibly neighbouring room's aircon, the one in our room looked pretty old) that was running all night making it hard to sleep. I wouldn't stay again.
