We stayed here for a night recemtly, when we had a party to attend in the city. It is conveniently located to the Festival Theatre area (northern part) of the city.
Our room was basic, but quite roomy and clean and tidy. Better than a lot in the city area and certainly roomier than other inner-city rooms we have had.
Parking is available (first-in, but quite a few parks available, so we had no problems) for $15 per night, gated and located at the back entrance to the Hotel.
Staff were prompt and efficient at check-in and out.
Price was very good at $99 for a double for the night.
We would be happy to stay here again.

Approximate cost: $99 a double.

My family use this comfort inn on many occasions ranging from a single room to there apartments. They are always clean and the price is reasonable for the city location. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. Recommend this motel as close to all facilities in the city. Very good for the price for a family wanting a convenient location.

I stayed at the comfort hotel for 3 nights. The room was dated but clean, to the point of smelling like cleaning products. I had to open the window for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell. The bed was ok, my fiance found it a little uncomfortable but I thought it was fine. We didn't have a balcony & the view was a concrete wall.

The main problem I had was the noise from other rooms & the hallway. You can hear doors shutting constantly. You can also hear conversations from adjoining rooms. We were also kept awake by snoring from the next room.

The hotel advertises that it has foxtel, however there were only 4 foxtel channels, 2 of which were sports. The tv was old so didn't have the digital channels.

The food is a little pricey for what it is but I didn't have any major complaints about it.
To use the internet in our room it cost $20 per day. The staff were friendly were more than happy to print out our boarding passes, which we had forgotten to do, if we emailed them to reception.

If all you need is a room to sleep in then this is fine for the price. If you're stuck the hotel doing work on the computer all weekend like I was then it becomes very claustrophobic not being able to look out the window.

Approximate cost: $90

We found our hotel room fairly basic, however it provided all we needed for a night away from home, this is a conveniently located, reasonably modern hotel.
We stayed in a standard room, I believe that there are bigger, more 'luxurious' spa rooms available.
For the price this is what you would expect.

Approximate cost: $120
