Like previous reviewers i took a chance with Hair Cutters as i needed a new colour and thought i'd give them a go..That was my first mistake!! I understand Saturday's are the busiest days of the week but the excessive waiting really got my goat. After i had the usual " what would you like"..i discussed i wanted a new colour, maybe a trim and a blow dry..At no stage did they quote me on how much it would cost. Thank god i asked before going ahead with the cut and blow dry otherwise i would have had a heart attack at the register...$95 for a colour, $ 55 for a trim, and i mean a trim not a style cut and $55 for a blow dry!!!! that's ridiculous (eastern suburbs mark up maybe...salon is in a shopping centre so don't expect oxford st prices). I promptly asked for a quick dry off and left ASAP. The staff member who put on my colour was very friendly and surprising was the only one. As soon as i asked for a quote the staff who was planning on cutting my hair turned every sour and that pretty much turned me off going there again. DO NOT GO HERE...OVER PRICED, UNDER STAFFED AND WASTE OF TIME

Excellent service, customer care and great hairdressers i came with a picture of what i wanted to get done and they got it exactly they way i wanted i couldn't ask for anything more, Prices are fair and surprisingly low. Lovely environment to be in, i will definitely come here again.

Not happy with colour, my highlights were too orange. And the roots turned out yellow! They said it's my kind of hair that has orange pigments. I am a brunette anyway and they simply did not lighten my hair enough. Also the cut was not what I asked -I even showed photos. They didn't even offer to fix it. I never went back.

I took a chance on booking in to have an "up" style done for a special awards night as my usual hairdresser doesn't open on Monday's. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. A lovely young Irish girl did my hair. I had brought along a photo to give her an idea of what I wanted and we talked through the whole process. She really listened to my suggestions and I came out thrilled with what she had done. The salon was beautifully appointed, the staff seemed very professional and there was easy 2 hours free parking in the centre. I'm very fussy with my hair and I didn't want it to look too "done", and I really couldn't have been happier. I will definitely go back if I ever need my hair done on a Monday!

Great hairdressers, very friendly service, always visit here to get my hair done, prices are as expected for a hairdresser, but the staff are great, Dee is one of the best staff they have there she does a great job with my hair.
