:(

You guys made my school photo make me look fat and shiny (I am neither fat nor shiny I promise).I woke up early to do my makeup and now I feel like my time was wasted because the photo came out SOOO BAAAAD. When the photos were being taken the lady was nice, took like four photos of me, and I'm sure she chose the worst one . I know school photos tend to look bad but come onnn

Terrible. This place charge very high prices for very ordinary quality photos. I could do a much better job and I'm not a professional photographer.

A little disappointed, my daughter received her school photo on 10th of October, class photo only (without her in it, as we didn’t want her in photos this year, personal reasons, also only get prep year 7 and year12) Cut off date to return 8th. I went in to return on morning of 11th and was told too late, cut off was 8th.
The killer was when the lady in the ARP office, where photos were to be returned, told me it’s ONLY $27! To me a single parent, $27 is a lot!

(i will add we received an email notification from school that photo was in the office of 20th Sept, after we told them we didn’t want any. Kids went on holidays on 21st. Was not informed that there was a return cut off or that I had to return them personnaly. Lesson learnt)

I'm a little surprised by the negative reviews. I somehow missed the ordering date (by months). When I had trouble logging in to create a late order, I found the customer service quite responsive. They just arrived today, so I thought I'd share my good experience.

Absolutely terrible customer service
After numerous phone calls and messages and emails no one can 've bothered to return my call. I placed an order that was late paid double the price and they took my money no photos! I would never use these people if the sxho must-have a contract with them.

Approximate cost: $0

I have just made a late order of school photos. I wanted to communicate my disgust at being charged an extra 50% of my order value as a 'late fee' when it's really pure profiteering off families and not even close to what it would actually cost them. Unfortunately we have no choice but to purchase through them, but would never use their service otherwise.

I agree they are terrible and would never use them

PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR PROFESSIONALISM. WHY DOES ANYONE HAVE TO LOG ON TO MAKE A PURCHASE? Here's why: Arthur Reed is creating a database....This company who has photographed our children for decades (since 1960) won't let you order photos without creating an account. Of which they want to know your name, your child's name, your child's date of birth, your home address, your phone number and your email address....and oh wait they already know what school they attend! Pathetic Arthur Reed!

We were very disappointed with the photoshoot at my husband's graduation. We asked the photographer which way the tail on the mortarboard should be and she confidently said "it sits on this side because it represents after you've graduated ( though the photoshoot was beforehand)". Well she told us the wrong side so in the photos the tail is sitting on the wrong side! She also didnt tell us that his tie should sit in front of the gown at the front; she spent time adjusting and straightening his gown smooth on the shoulders but failed to notice that his tie was covered by the front connecting fabric of the gown. As soon as we walked outside and met family, my sister in law immediately noticed the tie was behind and pulled it in front, which was too late because we'd already had the photos taken. You would expect graduation photographers to know which way the tail sits on the mortarboard and that the tie should sit in front of the gown join at the front. Extremely disappointing because we are forced to go with those photos because you only get one graduation.

I have had experience with a few photographers over the years and I have to say that Arthur Reed Photographers are one of the best.

The school photo packages and graduation packages they have on offer are generous, well varied with large portraits, keyrings, book marks and individual as well as group shots, and photo book options. You can even do orders and other services on line.

The staff are friendly and helpful, replying to queries very quickly. When I did have a problem with a family photo taken at school of my two children and I was not happy with it, they offered a re-shoot at their studio and this was subsequently done.

Packages are presented nicely and securely and the quality is good as you'd expect for something that's a memory you're going to keep for a long time.

A very happy customer.

This company was used to do my daughters school photos and they have turned out so well. What I ordered is what I received. There where lots of different packages to chose from too.
