We had a 9 x 5 mtr patio constructed by Armadale Byford patios. Brilliant workmanship. On time & on budget. Very pleased with the result. Thanks guys.

We had a patio resheeted at the start of August by Armadale Byford Patios
I paid for the job promptly within a couple of days in full.
On the 13th August I emailed them to let them know of some issues with the patio. Some screws had missed the timber frame and were visible, one sheet was shorter than the others by a fair amount, and there was a leak in the roof.
It took quite some time for him to come up, but when he did (in October), he fixed the screws and told my wife he would be back in a couple of weeks to replace the sheet once it was ordered, and to fix the leak.
After contacting him today he told me he could not fix the sheet for 'ages' until his own shed was completed. I asked him when that would be, and he could not give me a time. I asked him to have this completed by the 7th of December as the christmas period we have people around. He said I would have to take him to magistrates court then.
What a joke. Avoid.

I was recommended this company by another reputable company that I had used before, so I thought I would give them a go. When I made the call to get a quote, Rick was very obliging and came out within a couple of days, very impressive in this day when it is hard to quotes or even tradesman to come out. I was happy with price quoted so Rick asked for a larger than normal deposit as it was only a small patio and the price not large. I paid the deposit in December with a promise from Rick that I should hear about council approval in mid to late January, I did not hear from until I called in February and he said that approval should be any day, after waiting another month I called again and he said that approval had come through and the patio should be built soon, it was now March. This went on for another 4 weeks until I called the Gosnells council to see whether approval had been granted and could I have a copy of the approval. 5 months after I signed the contract to have the 8sqm patio built it was still not built and Rick was making all kinds of excuses as to why he could not come around or he would turn up and then leave without an explanation and I would not see him until I again called him to ask when he was coming back.
Eventually in late April the patio was completed and the demands for payment started with threats that he would take me to court if I did not pay ASAP. Payment was made and then we had the first big rains of winter and the patio leaked everywhere, I rang Rick to let him know and his excuse was that my gutters were full and if he came around and the problem was mine then he charged an $80.00 call out fee. I explained to him that the leaks were between my existing house gutters and the gutters that he had put on the patio and also where the join in the gutters were in the corner of the patio it hadn’t been sealed properly.
I had tried repeatedly to contact Rick to see when he was coming out and once again he made promises that he was coming out and then didn’t turn up, when I tried to call him he would either not answer my call or hang up once he realised it was me calling.
I am still waiting for the leaks to be fixed and I would not recommend this company at all as they do not fulfil promises
