Hisense tv repair

Echoing some of the reviews I have now read, I am also disappointed I didn't look into this company further before trusting them to repair my 65 inch Hisense tv.
On arrival to drop off the TV unit (Friday morning) the gentleman who served me was very apathetic, he had no interest in what I was there for and did not even bother to engage in friendly conversation. They took my payment to test the unit and said they would be in contact. The following Tuesday they have advised that Hisense no longer stock the part they need and this could not be repaired. I phoned the company to say I would come down and organise collection (side note: I had looked into another company who does TV backlight repairs & were willing to check my unit out). On Thursday midday when I have gone to collect, again the gentleman at the counter did not care who I was or what I was after. When he came back to speak to me after looking for my TV he had advised that the technician had pulled apart and stripped the TV unit (I can only imagine so they could use parts in the unit that they want) - there was absolutely no apology, no further comment or even an offer to reimburse. When I had stated that this was not what I wanted and I had let the reception number know I was coming to collect my TV all he had to say was "you can come back next week and collect. We will put it all back together for you i suppose."
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR ELECTIRCAL NEEDS.

Poor customer service. no empathy as a business.

Really disappointed with ABC Electrical. They insisted on full payment of a call out fee (roughly $170) for a technician to arrive at my home and turn on the powerpoint switch of my oven (which had accidentally been turned off). Technician at my home for no longer than 5 mins.

The technician made no attempt to phone me prior to arriving to potentially work out the issue. Technician arrived, checked for the powerpoint immediately and said "this happens all the time". It is not impossible that ABC Electrical potentially knew the issue was a quick fix, and guaranteed their $170 call out fee.

I tried asking ABC Electrical for a reduction of the fee as I was happy to pay something (the technican had still come out to my home), but they were strict on the price and would not reduce it.

This has all taken place in December 2023 close to Christmas time. Absolutely no kindness or empathy afforded. Really disappointed with their service and will not be returning or recommending to others.

Don’t go near these people. They would go out of business if people read their reviews. I did not (my fault) so was ripped off. It would be helpful if there were a suggestion in large print preceding all Google requests for companies that provide services, to READ THE REVIEWS! Those companies that have a good work ethic will be rewarded with ongoing business.
Had I read the exhaustive T&Cs protecting themselves when I confirmed a call-out by their technician, I may have smelled a rat.
The technician arrived and spent just over the time included in the exorbitant call-out fee to notch the cost up a further part-hourly rate. We were told the electrical board was at fault and would cost half of what we paid for the machine, and even then the machine may not work.
I was left with the same broken machine but hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Whether the fault was correctly or incorrectly diagnosed, their call-out fee is always guaranteed.

From the very beginning it was easy to make a booking online , the staff were friendly and understood my description of what I thought may be going on with my washing machine. I was told clearly how much it would cost and informed this may change , i was lucky it was an easy fix so the quote was spot on.When Peter came out he was friendly and was more then happy to teach me some things I was unaware of for the upkeep of my machine. Thank you for sharing your knowledge Peter. I highly recommend the company and will be using them as my number 1 first choice for any future work.

I have a Panasonic DVD player and was advised by Panasonic that I could have it deregionalised free of charge by one of their service centres, of which ABC electrical are one.
On contacting ABC they advised it was $75 NOT free and they would have to get the tool and that could take months!
I contacted Panasonic who in turn contacted ABC and put everything in place for me, so off I went to ABC with my player.
On arriving at the filthy tatty premises I found only one worker there. He insisted it would cost me $75.
I explained everything to him after which I was told I would have to leave the DVD player there as they didn’t have the tool!
It made me wonder if they weren’t happy at having to do the job for free!
This company sucks
Their phone manners are not particularly professional, their attitude is that of a company that does not want to keep its customers. In all honesty it makes you wonder how they remain in business!

I wish I'd done a search to check their reviews before I employed them to service & clean our coffee machine! They seem to have similar complaints.
When we received or machine back it was dirty & still with water scale stains & coffee grounds inside & they tried to say that was normal. I wish I could post a picture here.
They didn't give us back the power cord that was definitely connected when we dropped it in & argued with us we never brought it in then said they had plenty out back & we could have this dirty one they brought out.
When I rang, to say we weren't happy, the woman in the office was very rude about it & hung up on me & the repair man never rang back.
We returned to the store & were brushed aside & our concerns fell on deaf ears. Didn't even care about the rudest office girl I've EVER spoken to.
NEVER ever again would I use them, total waste of money.
I will also be contacting DeLonghi as ABC advertise they repair their brand.

Never use these people, they are an absolute disgrace. Charged me for things I did not do, took away my appliance for 2 weeks, heard nothing, then wanted to charge me $350 to deliver it back. The charge for the replacement part was 150% more than I could get it online at 3 different web sites. Rude and arrogant, customer is always wrong !!!!!

Charged me for a complete electrical review of my oven when they knew what the problem was initially. Reviews are accurate that they are a rip-off. I have told Gaggenau that they are thieves and will tell all other manufacturers the same. For the sake of a couple of bucks they will rip you off. Hopefully the manufacturers will block them as service agents.
