Data recovery is an extremely demanding job requiring great skill from our experienced repairers. As a result, we charge at a fixed rate for this kind of work. We know your data is priceless, but dealing with rusty or cracked boards, tracks, or layers, or missing or damaged components is a very time-consuming job.

For ‘a laptop not coming on’ fault, we have a fixed price, which we set at two levels: standard laptops, and MacBooks/Gaming laptops. This reflects the higher component costs for premium devices. We try to keep our prices as competitive as possible for regular jobs such as replacement of screens, lightning, micro-usb, usb and usb-c charging ports, HDMI ports, batteries, hard drive and Windows issues, keyboards, and hinge problems.

In our repairs, we are using mainly original components, the parts and labour comes with 90 days warranty. Our main experience is repairing computers, mobile phones, ipad tablet and desktop, but we are happy to consider almost any kind of electronic device repair.

About Us

How I become Technician

My passion for computers really started with my dad. My dad always bought the latest and greatest technology when I had been playing on the first Game Consoles and Laptop at the time of my high school. I still remember first Console that it had stop working which I took out to a local repair shop. I was always egger to know how would technician will fix a broken console. So, I told my dad that I want to become a hardware technician in future and he suggested me to do some hardware and software courses. But I was still too young to do that, so later with bachelor I had been doing Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE).

Then after I have studied Post Graduation Diploma in Hardware Technology and Post-Graduation Diploma in Information Technology. By studying all this gave me information more about software related but I wanted more so I have applied Post Graduation Diploma in Hardware Technology, this was all about Electronics.

After completing dual post-graduation degree, I had taken private classes for Laptop repair which gave me a lot practical. Then I was hired by small company for few years but I always wish to go abroad which took me to Australia for more study and work. I was offered job by Australian private company as Technician hence I migrate to Australia. Then I had studied myself 3 more certificate for Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Apple Certified IOS Technician (ACiT) and lastly Dell certified Technician.

This all Certificate and more then 15 years of experience gave me confidence to work by my own. Thanks to my father for all his support from start who has believed on me and now I am having best skill in market like micro soldering and motherboard component level like IC and Chip replacing. So we don’t outsource any repair but we do services for more than 10 store in city.

  • FREE QUOTE! We’ll look at your device the moment you bring it in, and in many cases we can tell you the cost and time frame of repair while you wait. There is no diagnostic fee to look at your Device! If you have an issue like liquid damage, you most likely will have to leave it as these issues are too complicated to provide an instant estimate on.

  • Yes we give quote before attempting repair and over the phone only if customer let us know correct model and correct problem.

  • It depends on Device and problem it has like if it is something simple screen and battery replacement and we have part in stock then it can be repaired in 30-45 mins. Other repair may take longer also it require to order parts then it usually takes between 3-5 business days.

We offer 90 days warranty on all our parts and repairs.

Yes, we do GPU repairs. Please keep in mind that there is a 50/50 chance of successful repair. Estimated cost to fix these devices ranges from $295-$550.

  • 1. Wala Repairs will not be responsible for goods left on the premises longer than one (1) month after the quotation or when customer has been notified of job completion and ready for pick up. After which the device would either be stored away offsite, recycled, or safely disposed.

  • 2. Free inspection and Quote before attempting repair.Fee $50 applies for tryingto all jobs after job confirmation, and additionally return postage of $25 if need to post.

  • 3. A quotation will be given after inspection of all faults. Repairs would proceed only after customer has accepted the quote. If the customer decides not to proceed after the repair has been completed, a rejection fee may be charged to undo the repairs.

  • 4. All data on the device may be erased during software upgrade, repairs or virus removal. It is the user's responsibility to have these backed up. Wala Repairs will not be responsible for any cases of data loss. Our technicians will not be held accountable. No exceptional case will be accepted.

  • 5. Any software / firmware upgrades are done at the customer's own risk.

  • 6. Wala Repairs will not be held responsible for altering the phone’s software at the user's request. Altering the software of the phone may cause the phone to be unlocked from the certain network. It is the user's responsibility to have read the agreement or contract of the mobile phone service provider and have sufficient understanding of how unlocking of a mobile phone unit may breech the contract in more ways than one. It is the user/s that will be held liable for any penalties that may arise from unlocking the unit.

  • 7. Wala Repairs is not responsible for ownership issues relating to the device whilst left for repair. Please keep proof of purchase or reference to proof of ownership of the device during pick up as failure to do so could result in the seizure of the unit until sufficient identity is proven.

  • 8. Customers must keep in mind that the equipment brought in is faulty and require repair or servicing to rectify the problem. In some cases some parts may have already been damaged and have not gone un-noticed. We can only try our best but we cannot guarantee 100% success on fixing a particular fault. Please refer to terms 1, 2 and 3.

  • 9. If a device has been water damaged please expect some parts to deteriorate due to corrosion and as such, some parts gets faulty after sometime and some case repair may not be possible.

  • 10. Do not expect new for old exchange.

  • 11. The item(s) documented in the service request will remain the property of Wala Repairs until such time the account is settled in full.

  • 12. Warranty is provided only to the parts replaced, or faults serviced by Wala Repairs. Any additional service requests made after the equipment leaves the premises will not be accepted for warranty claim(s). Warranty period of 90 days on parts and labour avoided if liquid or physical damage after repair.

  • 13. Deposits on specially ordered goods are not refundable unless we are unable to get hold of goods required. Please keep in mind shipping time is beyond our control.

  • 14. All special orders not picked up after 30 days of notification would be treated the same as term #1 and deposit not refundable.

  • 15. WalaRepairs reserves the rights to repair, replace or re-order parts on warranty claims.
