Not only is this an extremely well-stocked shop with cheeses and deli items, it's a great place to enjoy breakfast and coffee. The menu is refreshingly different, but also has the traditional favourites. If you order tea, it comes in the pot ready to pour through the strainer. We had breakfast with a large group and the service was friendly, promp and efficient.

A nice large room with 2 very comfortable recliner chairs and bed but this part looked out onto the car park. The other part which was the utility end, had nice open views onto the grounds so were wasted. It was a shame the room didn't have a different orientation. There was a massive bathroom with double shower and spa bath but many of the tiles were chipped. I appreciated the toilet being separate, as was the wash-hand basin out in the main utility area. The bed was very comfy and everything spotlessly clean.
I did think it was overpriced.

A great little (literally) place to have a quick coffee, breakfast, lunch or cake. Really, really good cakes and I was told they were freshly made by the owner. The menu has lovely choices to cover all occasions. Coffee has a nice flavour, but not quite strong enough for my taste. Well worth the effort to keep trying to get in, but seating is very close together and all conversations can be overheard.

Used my rewards program points for a 3 course meal – good value I thought and since we'd dined here many times before we tried lunchtime on a Friday. We took our own bottle of wine since the wine list is a tad expensive. Our waiter seated us in a quiet restaurant; 4 other tables at 12:30, brought the menu and asked if we'd like the wine decanted. I was horrified to receive a very badly chipped decanter, but hubby wouldn't let me complain! There was a reasonable choice on the menu and I went for the Cured Salmon for entrée, Lamb Loin for main and Ménage à Trois for desert. The food was really good except for the chocolate fondant component in the desert which didn't run or ooze (not good). I did notify the waiter about this. I am always annoyed when you have to purchase vegetables or salad as a side One thing I was disappointed in was our waiter who was very impersonal and haughty. He was very slow with service and we were a total of 2¾ hours even in a restaurant which was not busy, we wondered if it was because we were using rewards points. Another waiter who came to our table was friendly, commenting on the wine and explaining the delay with deserts. A plus for corkage being $25 – used to be about $30. Overall for this lunch; good food, but unfriendly waiter and this marred the experience somewhat.

Breakfast experience was a great success even with a large group. The restaurant appeared to be constantly full with people coming and going all the time. The choices were interesting, plentiful and were replenished regularly so you didn't need to wait. The only thing you did have to wait for were the eggs which were cooked to your order (and well worth the short wait). The service at the table was faultless with constant tea and coffee supplied. Would certainly have breakfast there again.

This is for North Terrace, Adelaide SA.
We've dined here a lot over the years and were very happy to receive an invitation to enjoy a complimentary entree and main course for 2 with free parking. We arrived early with intentions to enjoy a bottle of wine purchased at the bar and then take the remainder into the restaurant. For reasons I still don't understand, we had to get the wine menu from the restaurant and order from that. Needless to say this took up a lot of time, but the male bar staff who helped us was very pleasant and brought our drinks into the restaurant when it was time. We were seated by the window, which is always a bonus, and were told who our waiter would be and he explained the menu to us. Entree was a tasing plate of duck, salmon and black cones containg feta - all beautifully presented and delicious. For main course I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection being moist and pink, accompanied by baby potatos, beetroot and a horseradish cream dressing. Stunning! Hubby had venison which he said was perfect. We will make a point of returning here later this year. The wine list is expensive, as most of similar fine dining restaurants are, so to keep costs down I suggest you don't indulge. A really enjoyable evening out with good service.

Great place to enjoy your special coffee reading the paper or having a bite to eat from a good range including breakfast, lunch or sweets. The coffee variety changes so check the board to see what you're drinking. Before you leave check out the rest of the shop for that gift you need including jewelry or tableware. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

This Cucina has a great 'buzz' and ambiance. Staff are great and take time to explain the menu and specials board in great detail. We love to share several starters which come on wooden boards and are a great way to whet the appetite. If you love a steak don't miss out on theirs with balsamic and again served on a board. It can end up an expensive meal if you have several courses and wine, but well worth the experience. If you're a Masterchef fan, you'll remember Andre.

Wow, wow, wow! Such an array of superb cake's and chocolates, made on site, to either purchase for home or to have in the shop with tea, coffee or hot chocolate - this is heaven indeed. When I'm entertaining, I buy a truffle tart - why spend precious time baking when it can be done to perfection for you? Yum!
