Wow! How did I not know this place existed? The pop chicken was delicious. Great little restaurant tucked away in a quiet street. Nice one!
We got the sashimi don here, the dish was superb with fresh salmon and tuna on top. Not stopping there, it was drenched with a really good yet rich sauce that make the whole dish unique to itself. We also get the famous sweet potato gyoza, something that we have never had before! All in all, this place should be on your consideration when visiting this area.
I love this japanese place! the food here is of the japanese cuisine and it pretty dang good! The food is quite cheap but doesn't skimp on quality at all! Delicious japanese food at great prices!

Tasty Japanese food at a good price. It's worth booking ahead because they get quite busy even on week nights. My favourite it the tempura, it's cooked perfectly. If you're at Kent St next door you can order and eat next door which it great if you're in for the long haul there. However take away can take away on a busy Saturday night - I've had up to a 1 hour wait on food, so try to get in early. The wait it worth it.
It's a nice little place serving some honest, simple and tasty japanese foods. My fave is the pirikara prawns, the sauce combination is just so yummy and the diced peanuts give it a crunchy texture.
So cute! The food was yummy and I was spoiled for choice food as they had lots of quirky dishes. Service was fine - looking forward to my next visit.
Yum, yum, YUM! This was such a delicious meal with excellent vegetarian options and awesome prices. The vegetable gyoza was the best i've ever had. Can't go wrong with edamame to start and a Kirin. Love this place, will definitely be going back. Did I say yum yet?
Great ambience, yummy food. Went there in a big group and everything was delicious. Service was a little slow but acceptable. Really good for vegetarians. I had the ginger tofu on rice and that was fresh and lovely. Would go there again.

Great food here - i love the pirikawa prwns - they are very tasty, nice and spicy. The sevice isn't that great and the owner often looks like she would rather be some place else, so just some here for the food and the sake!
Peko Peko is a very small unassuming retro type restaurant with fantastic food. They have the best sweet potato Gyoza we have ever tasted. The service could be a little better but overall they are accommodating.
Approximate cost: $15
